Regarding the OP, having read it.... Yes, Bethany was sweet. Yes, a lot of guys like sweet girls and they're a popular fiction wifey. But could you PLEASE phrase it in a less creepy way? I can get why this'd be up there. Both siblings are likeable and good looking in their special ways. I've made some smashingly handsome Carvers by accident. There's one time I went back and rolled mage because Carver was too pretty to die... Actually, that was the first time I was a mage. I'm not sure I'd .... I dunno. It just seems weird.

Not least of all because knowing my Hawkes, I'd expect her to kick the door down the second making out started and beat my new protagonist up for messing around with her kid brother/kid sister.

If Bethany were a companion in DA3 this wouldn't be an issue, as the protagonist isn't going to be Hawke. It will be some other dude or dudette who most likely has no relation to the Amells.

That being said I think it is very unlikely that Bethany would return as a companion, because she could die in DA2. Many people completed the game with Carver. I think at best Bethany and Carver might get cameos in DA3, depending on who survived, but I don't think they'll be in the party.

Read the OP again, and consider for a second that he wants to bang his in-game sister and is trying to find a way to make it legitimate.

The OP was a little creepy, I admit.

But I didn't get the impression that he was looking for some disgusting scenario involving the player character's sister. He does note that the player character in DA3 won't be Hawke.

If Bioware went that route and brought her back as a companion and LI, there wouldn't be anything disgusting about it since the new character isn't going to be Hawke or another Amell. The new PC and Bethany won't be related.

That being said 'make character X romanceable' threads are always a bit strange. The purpose of the romances in the story is for character development of both the PC and the companion, not for some sort of weird wish fulfillment. Unfortunately some people treat it like the latter.

No. Theres too many "ifs" for her to be a companion. Shes either dead, a Grey warden, an apostate who got taken to the Circle then stuff happened so who knows, or shes you know... Dead! And no switching to a different member of the family in that case of scenario does not make it better... Also you shouldn't presume that shes a virgin, did you see the way she eyes up Sebastian?

I don't know what to say. My mind is completely blown. I'm hoping in seeing Bethany/Carver cameos but not for the reason you're suggesting OP. 

Would I like to see them? Yes.

Will it happen? Probably not.

Honestly, I think it's as reasonable as having Kaidan/Ashley in ME3. However, while in ME, the imports were detailed and choices altered the experience a bit, this was because ME was a single, 3-part story. DA just being multiple stories in the same universe means, to me, imports are just to maintain continuity (no king Allistair if I made him take the fall in DAO).

Point being: I don't want actual limitations on the game based on imports in DA, as would happen with a returning Bethany. Leave her out.

Well that OP was certainly creepy.

But that being said, I can imagine Bethany and Carver at least making an appearance if they ended up in the Circle or as a Templar. Gray Warden siblings could potentially more complicated but definitely doable, depending on how BW decides to make the story of DA3.

That would have the awkward reprecussion of giving Hawke a default skin colour canonically, as well as making they a rogue or warrior.
