the fact that OP is turned on by "virgin" doesn't bother me at all. "We all have our fantasies" This notion doesn't stir me in anyway. People who are creeped out by this are probably secretly turned on as well, just too shy to admit it. Not that there's any reason to. Anyhow.

Just wanted to comment on how realistic it is to implement what OP is suggesting: both the your siblings in DA2 changes appearance based on your character, while that might not be a huge problem, it just doesn't seem like a priority to the devs. Unless the hawke siblings have a big role in DA3, I just don't see them making the effort.

A half assed cameo would even be worse I'd argue. I used appearance mod for DA:O, but when they make a cameo in DA2 it just seemed weird, especially Leliana. I'm actually kindda glad Morrigan didn't make it in DA2 for that reason.

Personally, I would love to see Bethany as a returning character (being properly retconned since it could always be said that "Varric lied about what happened to protect her.."). I really liked her as a kid sister - a lot more in fact, than my real life one...

Furthermore I would love to see her as a "potential" LI, but when you flirt with her she says, "You remind me too much of my brother/sister and that would be too creepy..."

People are not making fun of you because they 'can't handle' your craaaaazy opinions, they're doing it because you revealed something of yourself - while common - you should've kept to yourself. As to the topic, too many possible outcomes. Cameo's the best anyone'll get to the siblings.

Too many variables. Some people have her dead, have Carver, she was in the circle or a Warden. Too many variables.

Bethany was cute, but not what I would call a dynamic NPC. I think sometimes we like the familiar so much we forget that to the designers they are just stepping stones. I would hope by DA3 they have come up with women that are a bit more evolved. I also wish they would include attribute tradeoffs that better fit female players.

I totally agree with this--I just didn't find her very interesting, and I didn't think she had much depth of character. But, then again, you only see her for (less than) half of the game (even assuming she's alive), so I'm not surprised they didn't give her as much depth as the other companions.

You didn't list any reasons about why you want her as a companion/romance option - such as describing why you like her personality or her fighting skills - beyond "she is smoking hot" and she "is a virgin".

That dialogue with Isabela was in Act 1 of DAII, wasn't it? Isn't DAIII set like, six-twelve [or more? I can't remember the exact amount] years later? I think it's unlikely that she would still be a virgin at this point in time and that believing she'd still be a virgin is quite an assumption.

You appear to primarily like her looks and the virginity you perceive her to have.

I'm not opposed to it as i think this sort of thing worked fine with Kaiden/Ashley and i think most of the reasons against it are fairly ridiculous and immature. "Oh noes! She can't be a LI cause she was Hawke's sister in the last game! Ewww! Icky!" Still I don't see it happening though.

Then again they could just throw continuity and save-importing to the wind and make the Hawke twins, who are both Grey Wardens for some reason, joinable companions. I'd be cool with that.

Edit: I know she's kind of boring but I actually kind of liked Bethany. I think it was purely because she was the only sane character in Dragon Age 2.

Not least of all because knowing my Hawkes, I'd expect her to kick the door down the second making out started and beat my new protagonist up for messing around with her kid brother/kid sister.

I have NEVER had an attractive Carver--I didn't even know it was possible! I always thought the devs made something "off" about his appearance on purpose because he's so unbelievably annoying and antagonistic. For some reason, mine always has a huge forehead and chin and little tiny beady eyes, no matter what my Hawke looks like.

I didn't reveal anything about my self. I said she was a good looking character and said what her character WOULD BE LIKE as a romance option for DA3.

First, you have no idea what she would be like.  Second, your entire thing is based on how she is in Act I.  It's been years since then - either years in the Grey Wardens, living life on the edge of death, which will take the innocence out of anyone right quick; or years in a Circle infamous for the abuses its mages suffer.  As a captured apostate, Bethany would have recieved the attention of a lot of Templars - including guys like Alrik.  While she seemed happy enough in the Circle, that doesn't mean she didn't suffer any abuse; just that she felt what she did suffer was tolerable when it also meant she was finally someplace where she's 'normal'.  Also, Isabela sneaks her erotica.  Even if she still has her magical, mystical, coveted hymen, that doesn't make her innocent, or even naive about sex.
