Of course, this was all before I maxed everything apart from my UR's. I won't waste money when there is little chance of getting one. And as I am now confident enough to run gold with randoms/alone when they all hit the deck or platinum with people I know and can work better with, there is no need to pay for a pack. The credits flow quick enough.
I do think it could be wise at this stage to introduce a higher percentage in PSP's and/or the Arsenal pack. With 12 UR weapons that is 120 UR upgrades. If they increased the percentage for paid packs to 33% or even 50% for an UR drop I think a lot of people would go for that.

I'll buy a pack when all my time playing to earn it paid off with multiple packs that gave me NOTHING worthwhile. So I'll throw 5 bucks instead as a last shot to make up for the wasted time.

I agree with what PR PistonRage said. And that's my problem. Once you have your manifest filled to the point where any pack you buy - with credits or money - is most likely to just give you Ammo IV, what's the incentive to spend more money? Silvair's logic only works when the chances of you getting something good out of a pack is fairly high.
I haven't been tempted to cash-buy packs in ages. Sure, I'd like to level up my Ultra-Rares, but I'm not that desperate. I actually want to give EA and Bioware my money, because I like this game. But it's not very attractive to do so at this point.

I have only UR levels as well, and yeah, there's no reason for anyone to spend money at that point. I bet they could make a lot of money if we could buy a pack that always gave an UR.
Speaking of which, they still haven't released the "N7 Equipment Pack", so maybe it will have an UR? Or maybe a Promotional weapon and they will launch it when they're done with weekend challenges.

There's nothing wrong with spending money on packs if you have budgeted for it, and there's nothing wrong with never buying packs with money if you're against it on principle. It's all good.

And yeah, I did use some cash for the game when I wanted to get started getting gold guns.
