sls includes things like torches with vx already attached, saving you lots of time.

Oh wow, That would be a huge time saver. Can't wait to check those out!

Hmm, where's the crafting recipe to add +2 Craft Area to a foot slot item?

SLS2 also allows for complex lighting scenarios and puzzles as well as ambient lighting convieneces.

This puzzle for example uses SLS2 and allows fun things like lighting up the right colors in sequence or getting fried by traps...pirates are just jerks.

Too kind Claudius33 - too kind.

I have a long way to go artistically. But I think being a software developer is really helping me grasp the core of the toolset quickly.

If I can tell a good story - and more importantly, create a fun campaign - that will be all I care about.

Well, as compared to what I was able to achieve after only one week of toolset practicing, that's really artistically impressive in my opinion.

Yes storytelling and fun are the essence. Fortunately I'm not too bad a storyteller at least for the players who like my kind of mods, which totally forget the Forgotten Realms .

I was really close to doing my own world. But through research I feel I got lucky; I found a region of Faerun that really fit what I wanted to do and the story I want to tell. Geographically it ended up being near-perfect for what I was looking for - it had the right mix of settings and stuff. The story I'll tell should make sense in this setting and I'm happy about that.
