Also if any of the BioWare guys see this, since the ingame banners have a slight gradient around the edges, is that something i would do myself or would it get done on your end?

"Although the contest says 5 winners, we may very well expand it out as it does not take much work to put alternative banners in place."

That's the one I use.

No offense is meant. I just do not find it as visually appealing as some of the others. Different strokes for different folks and all that.

I'm a bit less confident with that one since its pretty biased towards turian with that being Palaven on the left.

I did start it off with the citidel in the back, but then i realised i was using the same image as the current one

Ah, don't worry about being biased. Most of the current banners are. Besides, I'm sure many would love a Turian on the Council Operative Banner, but I think one of the Armiger Legion Turians would be a better choice. Especially for people like me who have absolutely no idea who Nihlus is or feel nothing for him or Victus.

If I'm understanding it right, you can submit as many banners as you like they just have to be all sent together, presumably in one file.

The only thing I would argue is that Nihlus is a Turian Spectre. Very definition of a council operative. And he is a) the very first alien you meet in Mass Effect and the very first spectre you meet... the very spectre who is there to chaperone and judge your own spectre candidacy.

Anyone who played the first game should recognize him. And I would wager a lot who didn't would still be tacitly aware of who he is, if they spent any time looking up lore/history/etc (like I did, since as a PS3 player, I didn't get to play ME1 until this year, but had already done 2 and 3).
