Though I'll probably not buy it as I'll end up forgetting to buy the second volume in time and then I'll have 2 different editions.
Regular edition it is, sadly

Is the World of Thedas giving me new lore information or is all the information already shared through present material? I'm quite interested in the lore side of Dragon Age, so if there is enough new information in there I would consider a purchase.

They're going to have things like fashion trends in Thedas. I'm assuming that it's not the inly new lore.

According to the blog that Gaider linked, there is new stuff.
One of the most exciting features is new in-world writing from a small army of Dragon Age writers and editors, including David Gaider, Luke Kristjanson, Mary Kirby, Sheryl Chee, Karin Weekes, Jo Berry, and Sylvia Feketekuty. Together, we’ve penned dozens of brand new codex entries from familiar characters like Varric and the ever-prolific Brother Genitivi, which dig deeper on topics as wide-ranging as griffons and Kal-Sharok to sexuality and sacrifice.

Thanks for humoring me besides my question only being a link away. Guess I will wait for the price tag on this special edition before I decide what to pre-order.

Will this be available in stores like Wal-Mart or Gamestop? I don't see why it wouldn't be but just want to know if I need to get it online.
Also, what will the price be? So I know if I will need to start saving money.
Thanks

And the book looks big.
Anyway is there a volume 2 planned ?I don't really get the volume thing , since well it seems World of Thedas already had the whole lore covered.
Volume 2: Recipes of Thedas ?

Well Thedas is only one continent and even thats not been fully explored. I say there is a lot left to potentially divulge
Still since the title is the title is "World of Thedas" I take your point :innocent:

Yay!
I'm a huge fan of this sort of lorebook, and the attention to detail that Ben and the team have shown with World of Thedas is great to see.
