My Amazon version is $23 and comes with just the book, no print.

I would say there is a very slim change that they might put the normal hardcover in a collector's edition, but yours is limited so I would say you are save.

Well, you also paid for a signature on there I guess. That's how I validated paying the 80 dollars. Then the 50 dollar thing showed up and you are braver men then me because I cancelled. I live in Europe and it isn't even available through the normal EU shop I'm going to wait a bit in the hopes it does show up there with a more reasonable shipping fee. If not then I would have to stay pedestrian instead of classy.

Would those signatures include gaiders?

Well, if the game is to be released at the end of th year/Q1 2014, then i guess it would come with Volume 2, with all the information that DA3 will add to the Lore.

Just hops the CE of the game doesn't come with normal hardcover Volume 2, and at the same time they release the Exclusive Edition on the store.

I hated that ME3 did something similar, the CE comes with an artbook, but at the same time they released the ME Universe artbook, much better then what i get from the CE...

Yeah there have been a few jeers on Facebook about the international shipping costs. Mines not as bad as $50, but still has set me back $30.

Treehouse have said that the item itself is exceptionally heavy which has caused the jump. Still the discrepancies from where you are on the globe is very off putting

As far as I understood, there is going to be only one signature — that of the artist of the exclusive concept. Though I myself wouldn't mind getting the book signed by Mr. Gaider, that would be... sort of unfair towards other writers and artists who worked on the content of this book. And getting it signed by the whole Dragon Age team is... a little bit... too much to ask

True. But PAX and most events take place like... on the opposite side of the planet. So not for me really, no. But someone could try and collect devs' signatures into exclusive edition and turn it into... ultimate exclusive edition! Enchantment!

Should be a good laugh. But I couldn't justify $40 + however much it is to ship to Europe, just for a collector's edition of a game.

Amazon.de sells the book for 34€.
I already preorded my copy.

I don´t think that a special book-cover and one piece of art justify the price of the collectors edition in the Bioware store.

One question, the one on Amazon is a hard cover right? Whats the difference between the normal and exclusive edition other than the signature?
