It's funny how the stuff we see in game looks nothing like what the concept artists give us.Sebciooo911 wrote...
Too true, unfortunately. Hopefully with the Frostbite 3 engine they'll be able to make the 3D models more similar to the concept art. It would be tremendous to walk around in Val Royaeux with NPC's that look like that!

I wonder too but I did re-read a bio-blog on it and it says, "... we’ve penned dozens of brand new codex entries from familiar characters like Varric and the ever-prolific Brother Genitivi, which dig deeper on topics as wide-ranging as griffons and Kal-Sharok to sexuality and sacrifice."Mercedes-Benz wrote...
Is there actually anything new in it? Or is it just an collection of all of the information previously made available?
Full blog.
So I hope at least two dozen new entries if not three+ dozen new entries/mentions on the lore.

This.
And a codex entry penned by Varric (and written in-character for him) is instant win.

Also there's more than one "excerpt" written by characters we know (besides Genitivi, who has lots of course).
And I'm calling zombies for DA3 based on some bits in the demon chapter, and I will be terrified (zombies, they scare me).

it's lovely. I've had to wrench it away from my son, and have only managed to read the first twenty pages or so, but I'd say it's worth it so far...
