Full blast Nova can do 2380 damage to shields/armour and 3570 to barriers with full consumables/gear/etc.

Your Biotic Charge does not hit that hard.

Nova also is an amazing ability largely thanks to it being one of the best detonators in the game, on top of providing you with full damage immunity.

how much can it do without consumables? And yes it is a really good detonator,most of its damage is based on that. and i swear in game it does less O.o

2030 vs shields/armour and 3045 vs barriers, though I am assuming SMG Power Mod V + Adaptive War Amp + Biotic Charge Power Synergy(You should be using a power mod + BC synergy and have some kind of +biotic damage gear).

Biotic Charge with that setup does 1160 and 1740 vs barriers(first charge does a bit less because synergy isn't up yet).

Nice to know, and man idk, i just feel very weak with just using nova, that 2000+ damage doens't seem to show on higher difficulties at all, it tickles bosses. Now ofcourse you guys will be saying why use a nova without a primer there but sometimes people don't prime or your in situations where a teammates not there or you just want to do a solo. I have seen human vangaurd plat solo's and most of the damage came from the weapon and some from the disrupter ammo priming but still nova seems so lacluster in terms of pure damage. its utilities is indeed amazing, i mean it detonates everything lol. And I suck at nova cancelling and plus i think its cheating

Screw Nova. It's fine as-is. It's got invincibility frames.

No no no. I'd rather Smash got a buff. Getting within spitting distance to a boss only to do two-three bars of damage is so not worth it. Plus this guy, for whatever reason, dies extremely fast. It's pathetic that even with a Cyclonic IV and Shield Booster V, this guy still feels like a wet paper bag. Alas, the end of balance changes mean none of this will ever happen...

I think an Acolyte would actually be better on him because it can be fired while he's charging/novaing.
