 Despite the less than great Aliens: Colonial Marines, the franchise isn't finished it's run in the video-game industry just yet, little is known about the new Alien game other than it is made by Creative Assembly.

Now you may think this is just going to be Total War: Aliens but it has only the original ALIEN 1979 attached to production which means likely no Queen... only a Alien and perhaps even the Egg-morphing life-cycle. 

I'm placing my bent on the idea that this will be in the same vein as Amnesia, or I certianly hope so. 
Although CA are saying they're looking to Dead Space for inspiration.

CA does seem like an odd choice. I suppose they may want to try branching out of the Total War series however.

Apparently it's going to be open-world the likes of Arkham Asylum and RDR yet have tight and claustrophobic areas. Sounds good so far, I'd love to explore a Giger-esque world.
