I've started replaying ME3. I'm doing my best to not take it so seriously and to fairly review it (to the best of my abilities) whilst still being aware of what has irked BSN and comparing this experience to that one... all for no reason...

This time around, I was not as disappointed by the Citadel's size (something that bothered me and a few others on BSN). It's varied enough and decent in size. No complaints here.

Menae also proved to be a pretty good mission. My mind kept wondering why we're trying to get everyone to earth, as opposed to other places. Perhaps it's because we need all of the combined forces to attack one spot and since humanity is the only one instigating this idea, Earth it is! Still not sure, however. Others remark on this but ultimately agree to send their forces to Earth. This leads into a point I meant to make last time: there's not a huge connection between the Earth of Mass Effect and the player. It's our first time there, and it seems like any other planet. Of course, it should matter to Shepard so this is somewhat irrelevant, but I don't have that connection.

As a whole, these two locales proved to be entertaining and rather good. Not too much to say this time around. Both were kind of short missions and I took my sweet time doing them. Apologies. Main point: So far game is going pretty well. Some weak spots and unclear points but overall pretty good.

RESPONSE TIME:

Thank you, Stormwolf11 for your support. It is much appreciated and a good motivator to keep doing these. Sorry it took awhile for this one to be done... I didn't know if I'd have enough to say. Regardless, thanks again.

To Obadiah, I've heard similar things from others. However, for me, I found ME2's intro somewhat shocking, and somewhat chilly. ME3's sort of slugged along but picked up as it went on. These are, of course, all my opinions, and you are certainly welcome to share your own. And yes... approaching Mars is beautiful.

Ticonderoga117 (May I nickname you Pencil-Spartan, please?): I agree with your assesment of ME2's intro (it being good and all). However, even though I didn't like the ME3 intro as much there were some things you listed that I actually found not as bothersome... actually most of what you listed wasn't an issue this time around. The big thing for me was pacing, detatchment, and the fact I felt ahead of the story. As above, thanks for sharing your thoughts.

MacroSpamMK: Hm. Take that as you will.

JBPBRC: Ah.

Ieldra2: As I said, I'm attempting to play through it without any biases and take it a face value. Most of what you stated was not a big thing this time around, for me. I agree with most everything you said about Mars (not sure what Kaidan's like... never liked Kaidan). I imagine the antagonization of TIM if you kept the collector base would be jarring indeed. That is a good point and one I did not catch as that was destroyed in my playthrough. Anyway, thank you for the input.

Nitrocuban: That is a point I considered. Still, I think it could have been handled a little better. I think it's possible to argue what you argued for the entire game. True, there's codex entries and what have you, but none of that really compares to first hand (virtual) experience. But I get what your saying and I think that's a fair point.

Nrieh: Another interesting point. I wouldn't really know as I always used the default face (I'm awful at making them). This playthrough I made the ugliest thing I could (in an attempt to not take it so serious). So... I guess I'm saying it's probably an issue but not one that I'm familiar with.

AlanC9: I personally kinda did, yeah. Explanation is ^ up there ^

Bob Garbage: Hm...
