I thought I killed Flemeth in DA1, how is she back in 2??

However even though Flemeth looks different how is she alive? I opted to kill her in DA1 and imported my DA1 save with her dead into DA2 so what's the deal? Also in DA1 I chose to not allow Morrigan to taint a child either.
Would appreciate info on how Flemeth has returned, thanks.

The real question is what's the deal if you didn't kill her. Are there now two Flemeth's?

Well when you first meet her in DA2 it's pre-kill, the Warden has only just completed their first main story mission (Lothering is being overrun). As for later she explains (kinda) that she'd stored "just a piece" of herself into the amulet which was given material form by the ritual Merrill performs. She's kinda like Braniac, so long as a portion survives she'll eventually reconstitute herself.
The real question is what's the deal if you didn't kill her. Are there now two Flemeth's?
Ah that makes sense then! Many thanks!
Emm well given what you said I doubt there would be 2 Flemeth's, given that 1 is already rather old so it may be that it's set up in a way that as the current one is at the near end of her life the new one take's into affect maybe kinda like the 6th day movie?

And no you did not kill her in DA:O, Morrigan confirms on several occations that she is not dead.

I believe she points out that she doesn't see it as a problem if she's at 2 places at the same time. If you then consider the very scared description Morrigan gives at the end of Witch Hunt and Fenris reaction on meeting Flemith I would conclude she is more of an entity or a force, thus everything you see is more of an avatar then an actual confined person. I wouldn't even be too suprised if it turns out she has been working on her scheme from several places at once for a while now and the 'Witch of the Wild' thing is just one of them. The real question is what's the deal if you didn't kill her. Are there now two Flemeth's?
This would also explain why she looks different in the games. For the Warden she chose a form that was not threatening so he/she would easily trust her, while with Hawke she went for awe-inspiring so he would be inclined to make a deal with her and make good on his promise.
I always wondered: why did Hawke wait an entire year before returning the amulet?

Personally I would like to see Morrigan and Flemeth again, and Morrigans/Wardens Prodigy. I think it would be really cool if your PC IS The Wardens/Morrigans child. Either that or you will be playing a seeker most likely.

I think it is fair to assume that Flemeth will play a major role in DA3. This is assuming that thoe Morrigan/Flemeth story line comes to ahead in DA3. It would really interesting to see what they do.

Unfortunately probably not going happen since the child was optional.

While Gaider did say the Old God Baby decision would be respected, I think he also said that Morrigan would be making a reappearance.

Flemeth gives the impression in DA2 that something much larger is coming (presumably referring to whatever is attempting to bring an end to the world in DA:I) - so chances are she'll have a moderate role to play.
I'd love it if Morrigan returned. She is easily one of the best characters that Bioware has ever written, IMO (probably the second best for me).

The Old God Baby has to come back at some point - seemed far too important a plot point to just drop with no further exploration.

Who's the first? HK-47?
