My fear was that extending to 7 or 8 rounds was going to be too much, both as far as tournament length and as far as bracket spread over number of teams that sign up.

I felt the common and uncommon rounds might be a bit more challenging, so went with that. But I understand your feelings.

As we creep towards the 27th, I'll throw this out there:

I'm looking for a team to join. I'll join a Gold team if one will have me, though I don't think I'll be competitive in that category.

I'd be a good choice for a Silver team.

I'm looking to have fun, and have every intention of trying to win, but fun/participation is more my thing, so I may not have the competitive edge you're looking for. But I follow directions well, have a good head for strategy, and I'll work my butt off to cover you and make sure you're back on your feet quickly, if anything goes wrong.

I have recording/screencapture ability.

Only a few days are remaining until the tournament. I'm excited to see who we'll be playing against in the first round!

Thanks ! The point for us is just to have fun, not to try to exploit any gllitch or something. We wanted to play with another friend of us but he couldn't, so we thought we could give it a try on duo. We would play Silver by the way, we probably would not achieve anything meaningful on Gold.

Like I said, if it's not possible, we'll play all rounds from the sidelines and post screenshots for fun

You know what? I see no contest advantage to it, so go ahead and submit your 2-man squad.

Also, a reminder to folks to get your teams signed up! Wednesday is the deadline and I'd love to have more Gold teams... and need more Silvers!
