Nope, I ultimately decided not to do a time limit thing. It's just straight up experience points + credits = tournament score. You can drag your match out to 8 hours or more if you really want to (not that I recommend it, for sanity's sake).

Alrighty!

Because the one match that we have gotten in so far took 32 mins.. and that was with only a couple hiccups, and  farming Wave 6 only. (But it was also 420k.  So not too terrible.)

and the turrets and phantoms are just brutal on dagger

"The Elite Cowards" got together for our first official game yesterday, and while not exactly milking the XP, got a respectible 33,500 credits each in a time of 22:01. Here's hoping the "Defenders of Omega" (read: the team that will lose to us) can try to match that.

What was the score you ask? Now that would be telling...

I will say that this challenge is actually challenging lol.

Using common characters/weapons on Gold has been fun. Did some Human Adept, NovaGuard, and the Infiltrator/Mantis...mantis still blows heads apart easily on gold. lol

Its just about impossible lol...hell hard enough to get 3 waves survived.  It's funny during the contests I try for medals....medals I don't even think about while playing normal games.  I had 20 head shots with the mantis at the start of wave 3....I was like damn.  Kill streaks....can get them like nothing when not trying for it....can't get them for **** when I try lol

I'm glad everyone seems to be enjoying the tourney... and the challenge of it!  That was my goal, something fun and a little bit different.

As for the weapon mod question, use whatever you like. Only the character and weapon selection are restricted... you can use any weapon mod, gear, and equipment/consumables that you like.

Also, to follow up the PM reminders:

You have roughly 34 hours left to complete Round 1 of the Ultimate N7 Gauntlet and submit your scorecard and list of characters/weapons used by all team members. Round 1 ends 11:59pm EST Thursday night.

I agree pugz82. We're your challlenging team, and cerberus on giant was tough too. But with a little bit of training, and good human characters, it becomes easier. It's funny but we didn't use at all the mantis.
Let's see who made the highest submission!
