The new Bungie game seems to have a lot in common with ME Multiplayer. Focus in cooperative combat and the use of "powers" in different classes.

Maybe Mass Effect 4 could use a hub world and more open maps for the multiplayer, with the persistent world aspects of Destiny.

There isn`t much info on both so we can only speculate

Well, Bungie adopted the idea of "Five Minutes of Fun". Meaning that the matches should be short, the game play good and it would basically be something that you repeat over and over.

BioWare adopted the idea of "20+ Minutes of Grind at a Time"... for a random chance at a possible reward, assuming the match succeeded or didn't crash.

True, but from what I've seen/heard, I'm beyond interested. Sounds like they'll be innovating the genre yet again. I'm hoping the next Mass Effect does the same.

When you put it that way, both sound terrible.

Agreed. We'll know more in the upcoming months. Definitely more after E3

That's a bold statement my friend.

As per the OP, why should Bioware take any influence from a game that is still in development? Not to mention it looks like a completely different game altogether.

I don't see this ending well. Halo will inevitably be brought up and then a platform war will happen which will probably end in a locked thread and some bans.

Doesn't bungie destiny only have some concept arts available so far? And most of them are fan arts..
Or did they finally reveal some more info? I don't really like the designs and settings of them though.

No it doesn't. It has more in common with Planetside 2 than Mass Effect.

Agree. Halo is also overrated IMO.  Nver could get into it.  I only beat Combat Evolved on original Xbox and that was that.

I am thinking more about ME multiplayer future. I love the combat and variation of weapon/powers. But would be amazing with open world hub and more elaborate missions.

Activision as Publisher, no PC port, launcing for current gen syetems, going to be riddle with micro-transient lack of patching that all Console shooters suffer from... same thing Mass Effect suffers from.

That is assuming Activions lords over Bungie the way it does its CoD producing studios. I'd like to know for sure that Bungie has total autonomy and Activions is just there to be the bag man.

I'm still not happy at the lack of PC version. Then again when MS restricted Halo to the Xbox alone I stopped really carring about Bungie. The Bungie I know and loved died in the making of the Halo RTS.

I will continue to keep an eye on this and see if they encourage user generated content (Maps/Missions/Etc). If the Halo franchise was good at one thing it was Forge and custom game types... that and theater mode.

*Goes back to Warframe beta*

These two games have ZERO, absolutely NOTHING in common.

Destiny will be a MMO game...no single player, 100% connected multiplayer. Again, will be nothing even comparable to a "horde" mode style game, plus FPS.

I have no faith in Bungie after Halo Reach.
