And when you look at RPG's, Fallout 3 is more violent. It's fun to shoot a Raider in his head with a combat shotgun ^^.

Walking Bomb makes me giggle - every time I use it. I love the wet thump sound. But I digress...

I mean, there where games like the Doom trilogy, the Postal games, Quake, Unreal,Redneck Rampage, Phantasmagoria 1 & 2, The 7th Guest, the 11th Hour, Carmageddon, the F.E.A.R games, Blood 1 & 2, the Splatterhouse games, Left 4 dead 1 & 2... and the list goes on and on.

I don't think even No More Heroes had as much blood as this game.
Every single enemy is like a giant blood pomegranate. Poke it a little bit and blood is spurting out everywhere. Everywhere you go in this game you see torsos and heads impaled on pikes, very very violent.
Don't think there has ever been so violent of a game.
Where exactly is this game violent at beyond a normal hack and slash fantasy game? The blood effect are definetly a bit much but that can be turned off. Not that the blood is all the violent and more just bordering on the ridiculous. If anything the games imagery at times is a bit disturbing and shouldn't been seen by a preteen IMO. There are RTS games that are a whole lot more violent than this game.

For your consideration =P
But I agree, it's really just tons and tons of blood. And the odd body part flying from Walking Bomb explosions.
I love cutting peoples heads off it`s so fun! LOL:O

Manhunt is like Barbie's Pony Playhouse in comparison.

Nope. The game is a little on the bloody side, but it's not even in my top 100 most violent games I've seen. Seriously, there's a whole plethora of more violent games before we even get into the "uncomfortably" or "sickeningly" violent level of games. I mean just look at Manhunt, but don't if you're squeamish as it is definitely unreasonably violent. However, as that movie shows Dragon Age is much less violent.
You know after seeing that vid i am seriously disturbed why someone felt the need to make a game like that. I mean who exactly is the target audience for something like that other than maybe a latent mass murderer? Pointless violence that honestly made no sense since that guy would be covered in the kind of blood spatter we see in DAO!!

I hear the upcoming Aliens vs. Predator game is going to have several parts removed just so that it won't get an AO rating.

I can believe it after seeing Aliens vs Predator requiem. Has there ever been a more disturbing imagine in a hollywood made movie that beats the maternity ward scene?
