If the Reapers are sentient: then they have chosen to harvest and destroy other life without giving justification towards a belief in an inevitable eventuality that is the result of failed programming and a flawed logical belief that it is impossible for organics and synthetics to coexist. They enforce their reign without empathy or compassion. They are psychopathic in nature and wish only to destroy to further their goal.

I destroy them without hesitation to maintain my civilization.

If they are not sentient: Then they are organically created machine hybrids that do not have real value than to be big giant robot cuttlefish that exist to serve the catalysts purpose and destroy all life to maintain a balance to a problem that is not as bad or complex as the solution without empathy or compassion as an automaton would do.

I destroy them to save my civilization from destruction by machines that are little more than machines with a VI running them.

And if anyone should have any doubt about the task at hand, know this. If we destroy the reapers then this war ends today, but if we falter and pick some other lame ass ending, then the Reapers wont just take us, They'll take Marilyn Monroe and Einstein and Buddy Holly and Aristophenes and Hawking and cox and Johnny Rotten and Mozart and Mr tumble and Meat Loaf, as well as the memory of every living human being to have ever existed upon the earth, or any being of any race that has ever existed in this vast galaxy of ours..... and all of this ..... all of this was for nothing "

We either

A) Believe a soilder who may have been your mentor and supported you throughout 3 games.

Believe a CLEARLY indoctrinated guy. Who implated himself with reaper tech AND is the Leader of a Dumb*** organization who is helping the very enemies who are KILLING US.

or C) Believe the logic of a Godkid whos purpose is "Yo dawg! I heard you don't wanna be killed by synthetics, so we created synthetics to kill you all every 50,000 years so you won't have to be killed by synthetics!" 

If you pick other endings thats ok and If i sound like a troll, I apologize 

But I'm just trying to explain who would you believe

Total eradication seems a fools choice when an option to reform them is present.

this is not the time to think outside the box. its the time to get rid of our archenemy - once and for all.

I feel that it is the choice that is most in line with the story arc, even if the consequences are pretty horrible; the geth gone and Edi dead... =( I still go with destroy since it rights the wrong done in the past with the construction of the catalyst and the reapers. It also allows Shepard to live and that is a clear plus. It's not a very happy ending but it is a good ending.

And that clips sums things up perfectly.

i know that's why I love it. I wish BioWare could phone paramount and get permission to parody the scene. Would be epic if we could have that scene in your quarters with your love interest. Would be epic to have your weapon smash your display case of collected ships!

I'm with you on that one, but the reapers isn't the problem...unfortunately. Actually,they don't even rate 'symptom' anymore, after the Catalyst says it's solution wont work anymore.

Do you understand what the actual problem is, or who actually?
