It's by far the least repulsive option.

One Shep destroyed, because she likes to be sure. And because she believes in revenge and seeing Kaidan's booty again.

That's enough for a reason to pick destroy.

I feel zero sympathy for the Reapers. The death of EDI and the geth were unfortunate, but im my Shep's view--it had to be done. The other two choices were not an option for her. However, I have no beef or concern about those who chose otherwise. It's their $60 and they can do whatever they wish.

Well it is certainly the pragmatic renegade choice. In the original endings I thought the catalyst was bull@#$%ing on Destroy trying to make control and synthesis look more appealing which he did. . So I shot the tube originally. In the extended cut though with refuse was presented that was my first instinct choice when I first saw it. I don't trust the catalyst at all. I wanted to find out on my own what the crucible functions actually are from a more reputable source.

But I don't blame extended cut destroyers at all. It's the only one that leaves the galaxy that we love in some recognizable state.

You don't "kill" synthetics.  They have no life to extinguish.  You simply shut them down.

The fact that they've managed to convince you otherwise is hilarious. "Oh noes, don't hurt the poor lickle machine!  Machines need love too!"

Machines need love too.... hmmm.... where have I heard that line before?

Yeah, Destroy is an easy choice when you don't consider its victims to be living beings.

25 femsheps in my playthroughs agree.

There is only one choice. Video here.

It's unfortunate that BioWare has railroaded you into a single ending for all of your Shepards.

Assumptions are amusing. Image IPB

10 male Shepards did not choose Destroy in my playthroughs.

However Destroy remains my preferred RPG option. Your fast answer suggests that you did not watch the video, or you'd realise that the destroyers have ME lore on their side.

I might add that I'd already came to the same conclusion as the video.

If you believe that Destroy is the only choice, then you have only one choice. All others are invalid.

And I have seen that video before.

Yeah.  Once more unto the breach........

Destroy the reapers.

Destroy those who have been murdering trillions of innocent creatures over the millenia.

Destroy these abhorrent monstrosities.

Until the last one of them is gone from our galaxy.  Make them pay for what they have done.

Anyone with me?

When you justify Destroy like this, you are invoking karma as your main rationale. I submit that karma is irrevelant when compared to the future of galactic civilization. It is also inappropriately applied to entities whose nature does not include  a social conscience.
