Save Circle Mage and Tower Guard?
Those characters were really starting to grow on me.

Dammit! After my rogue (who sucked prior to becoming a badass duelist-assassin) went down, Tower Guard beat that ogre's ass by himself. Stuck his mace right in its eye XD

Idk, Flemeth seemed to possess knowledge she shouldn't, such as knowing Maric would be betrayed by Loghain over and over, that he wouldn't leave to see the Blight, that Loghain was preparing treachery. In part, she was looking out for her own interests, and that is why she saved the last two Grey Wardens. It wasn't necessary to save the guard and the mage, or perhaps they were already dead when she came.

Because she turned into a giant bird with only TWO talons. Therefore, she could only save two people from atop the tower. Considering that after the battle at Ostagar there are only two Grey Wardens in all of Ferelden who can slay the Archdemon, the lives of Alistair and the PC are obviously the most valuable.
That, and the last we see of the Wardens in the Tower of Ishal they're being attacked by a volley of arrows. It's possible that the mage and tower guard died. After all, the PC was deeply wounded when they were rescued from the tower, it's a fair guess to assume that not everyone was so lucky.

Perhaps the tower guard died when the Darkspawn attacked (you were *only* injured).
