Oww yeah, remember that. Good times. Have never laughed that maniacally. Even exchanged some crude jokes with the support guy I was chatting with (those guys can have some real mean jokes regarding the maintenence guys, lol).

When the Support personnel asks YOU what tools you're using to track their packet traffic and pointing out why it keeps disconnecting.

... when you lose connection to the EA server AND it kills your Live connection too.

When your pre-game lobby starts to lag.

Mid-wave the Connecting spinner appears top left of the map, players and enemies alike start walking off the map. Meanwhile one player had his microphone permanently on and I could hear the game continuing perfectly for the others for over a minute ... before the "You have lost your connection to the game ..."

It's proof the problem is often with EA and nothing to do with the client's internet connection.

You are on wave 11 and lose the connection... losing all credits, consumables, and most important: YOUR TIME. Yes, this is from personal experience.

Chances are it has nothing to do with EA's servers though. That just means too many packets got dropped between you and whoever was hosting at the time. The fault might in fact be at your end, whoever hosted or anywhere in between.

Blaming EA for all networking issues is lame. It's enough to blame to for issues that actually are their fault, there's plenty enough.

- when you can't join friend's lobby,
- and when your friend can't join your lobby, so you have to look for PUG game with free slots and quickly invite friend,
- when you're seen off-line and still talking with friend on Origin,
- when you want to play with a friend and you don't have MULTIPASS,
- when you ask tech support to regain multipass and - after he does this - your game can't verify From Ashes DLC. So you have to ask a tech guy for another 'favor'.

You know the EA servers are bad when getting all your friends in one lobby is the toughest challenge of the game.

On the whole net, is there any positive comment about EA/Originservers? I hear here and there claims that smo never had a problem with origin. My claim is, they play just once in a quarter. I mean good for them, but for smo, like me, who is playing arround 2 hours a day, sometimes much more, sometimes much less, orgin and it's servers are pain in the ass.

On Pc you know the host is bad when:

-Shuttle stays put throughout the entire mission.
-Unless you get in cover your character jumps left and right.
-Headshotting unsheilded mooks results in 'Assist'
-Ladders dont work
-If you do nothing when a husk jumps you, you automatically self ressurect after it kills you and gets off.
-Emptying an entire clip into bosses does nothing even with the highest dmg weapons.

Origin has a pretty icon, if you like orange.

There you have it, a positive comment about Origin on the net. :P

That is something positive about the Origin client icon not the servers

True. Hmm... let me think of something positive about the servers.

Oh, two things even;

- Origin succesfully updated my new avatar.
- I was able to chat with a friend yesterday.

That requires a cooperative server, right? :P

It has got awsome tech support where I live. Fixed my multipass/from ashes in 5 min. -including the wait time to get to talk to one.
