This isn't a "how do I beat it?" question but more curious about one part.
Just before you run into Jack, there's that generator that if you destroy, disrupts Cerberus' broadcast and allows Kahlee Sanders to broadcast her own. I thought at first that this was needed to progress but it seems like I was able to skip to the next cutscene without doing so. Is there any consequence to forgetting to destroy it? I would test it myself but since Grissom Academy's one of the more annoying missions in the game, I didn't feel like replaying the whole thing just to find out.

Hmm... didn't know that happened. I've never destroyed that generator, since I don't remember Kahlee broadcasting anything. In my games, someone from Cerberus talks to the students through their omni-tool and tries to convince the students that the Alliance will get them killed and they should join Cerberus, or something similar to that.

No, its after Jack. She has you find the labtop in the room, is that what you're talking about?

No. Before one of the doors leading to the students fighting the Atlas with Jack/Jack's replacement, there is a laptop on the floor next to a generator. Destroying the generator will stop the Cerberus broadcaster from broadcasting his message to the students, and Kahlee will thank you and then broadcast her own message to the students.Asch Lavigne wrote...

Yes. Something like "Is this thing working? Shepard, you're a miracle worker. Students..."
AFAIK it doesn't really do anything plot wise.

I've tried playing it both with and without destroying the generator, and there's no practical difference. Only whose voice comes over the speakers, Kahlee or the Cerberus guy.
