I'm curious as to why there is so much asari hate in the sp forums nowadays.
We mad they live for 1,000 years and we don't.

I think she was referring to Asari not being good front line soldiers.

Im just wondering if anyone else noticed this, but it rlly seems to be the case. Asari Commando's are probably one of the galaxy's worst "elite" forces
I mean "have you ever faced an asari commando unit before? Few humans ever have..." and then u boom get into a 30 second fight with them on noveria(ME1) u win
Enyala in ME2? the fight was a joke
TBH the only Commandos in the series that seem worth anything are Aria Wasea and Shiala....
Just found that strange...
would explain why they wear leather....iOnlySignIn wrote...
On the contrary. I find them very useful.
For serving drinks and giving lap dances.

TBH i always hated them, they are cramed down our throath troughout the series as both sexy, intelligent, peace loving and right most of the time, i found them to be snotty, hypocritical and down right annoying.
The few Asari I did like i found str8 out awesome Mainly Shiala and Samara, and they are to date IMO, some of the best characters in the series , but generally they are un interesting, bleak and try to sell on space bi sexuallity

please don't go there, we have people here bragging about following a no death ruleset on insanity and finding it ridiculously ease because they are so good that if games were made for them they would only say 10000 copies (not kidding you this was actually said to me here)UEG Donkey wrote...
Play it on insanity if you want a challenge. It was very difficult for me.
I'm with schebobo, I never liked the Asari. In the lore-rich-awesomeness that was ME1 they stuck out like a sore thumb for how silly and far-fetched they were as a race concept.schebobo wrote...

Lol but srsly the way some posters get so worked up about them is a little pathetic. You'd think the asari killed their family or smth.
Just curious, how would you 'remake' the asari? I mean if you were able to go back to me1 and 'retool' them a bit to your groovy tasteswithout altering their physical appearance how would you make them? just want to hear your personal take on them.
Oh and pls don't say "I wouldn't".

I don't understand why people think the Asari are 'weak.'
In ME3 the Asari military actually puts up a much stiffer fight than the Alliance did.
The bulk of reaper forces where on earth kicking the crap outta humanity, the Asari had less to deal with and had more time to build up defenses as they knew the reapers where coming.
The Krogan Rebellions began in the asari colony of Lusia. After centuries of unabated expansion, the krogan finally forced the Council's hand when they tried to annex this world. Aware that in a generation, Lusia could be a staging base for an invasion of Thessia, the Council came to the colony's defense. They cut the krogan supply lines off at Thessia's mass relay and inflicted heavy casualties. The krogan here surrendered, but others across the galaxy were enraged. Lusia became the catalyst for a much greater war.
More than a millennium later, Lusia finds itself once again in danger. Though the asari have lost the "high ground" of space, the colony's webbed defense grid remains at least partially functional. Land, sea, and air forces are striking wherever they can, determined to resist until the end.

Eclipse Heavies. And I'd hate to say it, but most quarians are noobs as foot soldiers it seems. Though there was Bolo from Ascension.DarthLaxian wrote...
-.- suit-rambo on dope, thinking he can take out the big robot (if you don't talk him down?)
well as much as i like him, but no way (note: he has a heavy weapon - have we ever seen asari use those?)
