Hello,
After finishing DA:O a while back I decided to work on Awakening as I am in the mood, I installed it and imported my save and started the game. It was not long before I noticed some weird issues.
For example if I go to Amaranthine and try to talk with the guard Aidan I can't click on him. I see the quest marker but I can't talk to him at all, I click and nothing happens.
Also at the entrance I see a shady looking NPC leaning against a house with a quest marker but I can't click him at all, my mouse won't even turn to the little action icon.
Another example is the one quest where I must find 3 people in town and I assume slay them, I can't find 2 of them and i assume I found the one but I can't click him and he just ignores me.
Another example is going to Black Marsh, ALL the wolves just ignore me entirely, I thought it was normal at first but after looking it up for fun it appears it is not normal?
Anyone have any ideas?
This is brand new install on a brand new computer.
Thanks.

I suggest you should get everything installed and authorized before installing your old saved game files on a new machine. It's not critical, but I've found it makes the authorization process simpler and pain-free. Also, DA:O will sometimes time out if you're trying to download a lot of DLC at once. You may want to consider a manual download and install. See the bottom of this page: http://dragonage.wik...ntent_(Origins)
A good guide on game installation (and this is probably what it will take):

Alternatively, You can try some of the solutions in this thread:

A probable solution (maybe!) is 1) backup all files in [Your docs]/Bioware/Dragon Age) 2) renaming ([Your docs]/Bioware/Dragon Age) profile.dap to profile.bad, then log into your BSN account, and re-download your DLC. This may clear the Awakenings problems.
Good Luck!
