God knows. Or maybe the mods do.
Various reasons. Reviving a thread, spamming(though I honestly have never in my life actually tried to spam anything or anyone, so all of those times were not by intention), and once wasn't a suspension but a warning for "provoking" someone into losing their cool.
I still disagree with that one. It was back waaay before ME3 came out, when Major Coats was just known as the British guy in the trailer(yes, this is even before he was being called "Big Ben" due to the tower he was in).
People were talking about how good/bad he looked in a thread and I said something along the lines of, "Well I know I look better than the British dude in the trailer"(me tooting my own horn in jest).
Which sent some dude over the edge and he went on an Anti-American racial rant for an entire post, which I'm sure got him suspended.
[Opposite Day]So that was fun.[/Opposite Day]
But I've eaten all the suspensions I've been served. Hopefully no more are on the way but you never know. I try to not break the rules but since the moderators all have different opinions on what is considered "the line" that is crossed/not crossed(as an example, how long a thread has been "dead" and thus is necro'd), sometimes you just get unlucky.
In the end of the day though I've been around for yeeeeears so I should know better, right?
I'll keep trying to be goodie goodie for the sake of the boards, and do what I can to bring the bad apples(all those god forsaken SPAMMERS) to the attention of the devs/mods.
