Three things I couldn't care less about in a new console: hardware specs, social media and touchscreen/hands free gaming.

Personally I much preferred the Playstation Plus to XBL. I got XBL to play ME3 MP, I got Playstation Plus to spend more money on games.

Considering how Sony opted to get world all hyped up about this - event - , it is pretty surprising how low effort and lazily done this seems. There isn't that illusion of enthuasism very present. Every single time it is turn for Sony person to speak you get this vibe of watching an impro performance portraying Peter Molyneux selling used cars. 
" Sony has always been in forefront for developing the best versions of games! Now..we want to bring you deeper and more intense experiences of versions we already know..and love."

I can't believe they are still sticking to same goddamned pad design? Is it really so well liked and iconic?
Is the 15 year old pad really so well loved and Playstation defining they just can't let go of design? Are there (m)any people out there who prefer it over Xbox pad? At least the analog sticks have been improved though.

Hmm..apparently typical  Skyrim HD texture mod faces are " future of gaming" never before seen in video games til PS4 brings them to us:O:O

Okay, I give up, this is how long I can watch this.

Their whole presentation style just annoys me, like they are talking to a room full of newborns who have no idea how the world works. Unless PS4 replicates fried bacon out of thin air it won't going to live up to this level of hype.

Well my thoughts so far

OH YAY MOTION CONTROL! No. Screw that.

Chipset while better than what we have now, is behind expectation, and current advancements. No big surprise there.

No backwards compatability, but hey! You can buy all your PS-3 games again! Cheaper! And like a Steam service! Because why wouldn't I just use steam?

Social Networking, oh joy! I'm sure thars great for people that actully you know have friends that play with them, unlike me. Bastards.

It will learn from you.....well crap. If I buy a PS4 humanity is screwed.

$400 dollar price tag....not a good motivator honestly given I can get a much better PC that while it won't be top of the line it can play most games on high end settings and still be useful several years from now for just 300 dollars more.

Yeah 700-800 is alot more, but when you figure spare controllers, battery packs etc....

No word on used gaming though how they keep throwing out DL content and such I suspect they might have registration codes aka project $10 dollar. And given the amount that GS sells new releases for used thats going to suck for some people.

Also the heavy online use of its capabilites will leave people outside of Japan and sections of Western Europe at a lose. The US overall ability of good net providers is a joke.

Meh why do I even bother with gaming anymore. So not worth it, be it PS or PC. I doubt MS will throw out anything. The hobby is frankly not what it used to be, and is getting to cost too much..oh well.
