To make room for a friend
When a player is AFK the whole game or obviously not trying/leeching
being obnoxious/trolling
N7 lvl 1

Sometimes I kick people under 120 N7 if they have a ridiculous loadout, if it's somewhat reasonable then I don't. Depends on how much I feel like carrying.

Mood swings. Depends on my mood swings. I carry a lot of n00bs regardless of N7/performance. Sometimes though, I'll kick and go in with a 3 man crew rather than take someone I know will be carried.

the only time i will kick someone is after we play one match together so i can see how you play. i dont care if you have a low level character or no gear or whatever since i can go in with no gear and an avenger and still have the top score. if you tryed your best and revived everyone and have the lowest score ill keep you around just so that the enemy has someone else to shoot at.

plus everyone has been kicking me lately since i have bioware reset my manifest so with my n7 raking over 3000 it looks like i have nothing. i still dont have all of the gears or weapons unlocked yet........ yet if we play chances are im better than you =p

lol so you would take someone with a lv 20 character, no equipt or gear and n7 ranking of 20 into a gold/plat map but would still give him 1 map to prove himself? lol

yes everyone deserves the right to show that you dont need gear to win i sometimes dont use it to for a challenge.

p.s i only play plat

fair enough, but personally I wont take someone who hasnt even played a few bronze/silver maps into gold. thers no substitute for a having a few maps under your belt. may have played single player but MP is a totally different animal

true but dont get me wrong i will kick someone who after that one game should be on a bronze match sometimes ill play gold or giggles and to watch the newbs think they are good.

but it has been hader or should i say more challenging for me to find player to play with since i had my manifest cleared so everyone thinks im a newb and wonder how i have such a high n7 ranking

shame you only play plat. I tend to avoid it  as dont have a mic, which can obviously make it difficult to communicate. other wise would have been cool to team up

I think I've kicked fewer than 10 times ever and never instigated a kick. I am much more likely to just leave the lobby. I have done that a few times when 2 other people wanted to kick someone when I felt it was unjustified.

I only play a little bit of Platinum, and I've only played with 3 other friends. On Gold, our teams tend to be strong enough to carry one or two "weak" pugs. We basically never kick.

Last night we had a very talkative (and eccentric) PUG who played a few matches with us. The guy died a lot and NEVER medi-gelled. Just before the last match he admitted he had no medigel left, so I unreadied. "You need to go buy some?," I asked. "No, I already spent all my coin" he explained. So we let it ride through another game. After the game I simply explained to him that it's proper etiquette in Gold+ to always play with five or six medigel, that other players might get annoyed and kick him. The room was breaking up, but had we played another match I would have insisted he buy some to stay with the group.

Some people are odd though. As a bronze/silver player, I was in the lobby of a bronze and the kick icon came up. Looked at weaps: common X. Consumables and mods equipped. Go figure.

I only ever kick if someone keeps the lobby waiting for a couple of minutes when everyone else is ready to go.

Only if we need a spot for someone. Otherwise, well let them play with whatever ridiculous stuff they have on...and hope they see the error in their ways. And go down a couple diffuclties....most people.

almost never initiate kicks myself, but I will leave if:

-mic is open or loud and the person won't stop talking.
-I'm playing a grenade-reliant kit (non-Demo, since she has pylon) and there's 2-3 other grenade users in the lobby
-no one is readying up after a few minutes.
-if there's >1 player w/ very low level kit and weapons in gold (can tolerate one, but anymore newcomers in over their heads than that tends to make for a chore of a match in a pug).
-if its a Rio lobby (even if not Plat). I hate Rio.

I'm going to go ahead and say it, I only kick AFTER I've played one round with someone. AFKers or disruptive players only. N71? Cool, I'll help you get that experience. No consumables? I'll tolerate it if you are making an attempt.

If I need to make room for a friend, I'll ask first. If your disruptive in the lobby, I'll ask you to stow it. If you're equipped like an ass, I'll argue that you should gear up before we go.

Too many people want to kick for no good reason, almost none of them have any weight before you played with the person. You should always use your damn mic and settle it like honorable warriors, but this is what happens when petulant children feel entitled to control another individual's actions.

If you've asked them to put gear on and they don't do you kick then?

I did say that I will tolerate it for one match only.  If we play, and you come back to that lobby hurting through the whole last game and proceed to attempt another match with zero gear, I will kick.  The point is that I gave you the benefit of the doubt just one time that you can play satisfactorily without gear.  Most people are so busy kicking newbies that they never give them a chance to understand what it is they are doing wrong.
