The only people I kick are cheaters (missile glitchers, Hydra etc...) or if a random shows up in what should've been a private game. If I kick for the 2nd reason, I always send a message saying why and nothing personal.

I don't kick anyone based on their skill or ranking - everyone starts somewhere.

I'll kick if said person acts like a dick though.

I wish more people kicked. I earned my way back into gold after switching to the PC. Lately it's a ton of people with level 1 common weapons/no gear. If you are not max level, I can tell by your loadout if you can handle it.

A low level common weapon doesn't scream "I got this".

I usually only kick after the game, and when the person did one of those :

1. Didn't even try to do objectives.
2. Didn't use any medi gels.
3. Nuked spawns.
4. Constantly shaked my screen.

Or used a Destroyer specced for HML.

I rather leave the lobby than kick, especially if the one I want out is the host.

But sometimes I am enjoying the lobby, good games, nice people and a random kinect(with a loud spaming mic) dude show up and just like that the magic is gone...

With friends only kick to make space of one more, normally send a message after informing the reason.

Gotta love when people join Gold/Platinum with their lvl 10 Volus and Avenger lvl 1 or whatever. Especially if they don't use medi-gel even when they are the last ones laying on the ground while everyone is already dead.

Why do people kick for N7 below 200 at all? I didn't promote for the first year that I played, and can certainly say that promoting hasn't made me any better (currently have an N7 rating of 240 right now).

Any level 20 character, regardless of N7 rating, should be accepted. Promoting doesn't improve (or show) anybody's skill at the game; it simply shows they have played it for a long time.

I usually host, so I don't kick, just "reset" the lobby. :-P
edit: I only do that if someone constantly cursing or messing with the others, don't really care about other reasons (bad setup, etc.)

Only in exceptional cases where I see other people putting kick marks and when I check their load out I can see that they are obviously looking to be carried. Otherwise I dont care if low points/N7 or basic gear and equipment ..as long as they are giving it an honest go

I found out that there are people who kick you for playing with a volus... I like playing with the rolling thunder.

If you come into Platinum lobby & insult everybody with L1 equipment or even worse you don't put any equipment at all & you're all in wonder why is everybody X-ing you.

Also if you're not L20 character or have uncommon weapon equipped & you don't use your rockets & medigels.

It's Platinum - it's expected for you to use all your equipment if it's necessary.

If you are a 3rd or 4th and a friend comes on, we will in a kind way ask if you would leave to make room for them, for whatever reason they often will not, we used to just start a new lobby and sometimes we still do but if you do not leave after 20 sec or so, X
