I'm pretty sure it's been there since the 5th, actually. You can also seem them early by comparing achievements with someone else on your 360.

Right now I'm debating on spending the MS points I've saved for this on something else, since we've been given no news or anything.

I hope you are sarcastic but that DLC was the WORST DLC I EVER PLAYED (even worse than Horse Armor from oblivion) and we waited for MONTHS for BioWare to release it for ME 1. Worst use of my time ever waiting to get it.

If the DLC isn't out before Mass Effect 2 comes out there may be less people interested in it due to people moving on to ME2 at the end of the month. I plan on playing it until the DA expansion is released in march.

Well the thing that i am worried about with all these delays is that also i have a feeling that they are gonna delay awakening big time.

if it take more than 2 months to fix a 30 minutes DLC, then its gonna take a longer time to make sure Awakening is perfect.

Two to three months for a 15 hour game to come out sounds unrealistic to me if you ask.

And they have stated quite a few times they will only say anything when they actually have something to TELL US!

What use is there to go public with "As usual no news, hang tight" once per week or whatnot?

Especially since they got flamed for doing just that!

im not obsessing over it. its just they say a certain thing is due, they should have it done on that day. Its like for example, the new StarCraft 2, its being held back constantly.

I understand completely the difficulty the task is at hand. I praise them for doing a good job with their games.

but in general like i said earlier, its not professional for business to delay things. If they had picked a better date to release Ostagar, then there wouldnt be so many people complaining.

But as long as they get the DLC good, im fine with the delay.

My anger has passed about the whole delay thing. I hoped they would have kept us more informed after the delay but as long as they release a good DLC this time I will wait. I just hope they release it before the release of ME2. Because if it comes out along the same time line I will be playing ME2 instead, and the long delayed DLC RTO will have to wait. I'm sure I'm not alone on that one.

we are not upset because it is delayed due to testing problems.

we are just upset with the fact that they dont tell us anything about it or when they think the next release date will be.

I am not attacking so do not take it the wrong way but what difference would it make if there is full disclosure about the problem/issue? Maybe it would squash the rumors but we can be assured there would still be some that refuse to take it as the truth.

Same if they were state something like "we are hoping to have it out before the end of the month" Even tho it is not a set date the closer to the end of the month more and more will be asking about it and god forbid the month ended with out a release.

Bottom line is the people at BioWare are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Here's something on-topic, I'd like to know how RtO fits in terms of time. Mostly, when would it fit best in the scheme of things happening in DA:O, seeing as there's a horde meandering about and we appear to be getting some more massive plate and other goodies. Being somewhat of an RPer I'd like to know when we are meant to go back and survey the happenings for ourself. Simply an aesthetic concern of mine, really.

I'm guessing it's similar to finding Shale, as it's DLC, not an expansion

Forum mods don't work for bioware (as far as I know) so I wouldn't trust getting release estimates from them unless they were told to post it by bioware.

You're right TL, I usually wait till games are out before giving my money for them. Cash On Delivery sounds a good business payment method. I don't think they would take an int'l irrevocable 180 days letter of credit! Neither would I finance the production... I ain't rich at all! =)

Plus why pre-order if there is a limitless supply of the game? If it's 100 units only! I'll probably pre order to avoid being unable to get it.

Oh yah and those people who queue up for windows 7/ iphone / ipod/ tamagotchi / yoyo / whatever on the first day like if they slept through the night and bought it at 12pm the second day they would be deprived of usage or something.

There isn't even a preorder bonus.

C'mon this is a joke.

Bioware is the new king of announcing announcements of future announcings. If they don't keep reminding us that the are working on mass effect 3 (mass effect was already planned as a trilogy no?) and that there will be DLC and expansions they are afraid we will forget.

Sorry, I have to disagree with this too.  I made a post with a link to a video I made voicing my opinions on the delay and was almost immediately locked by the mod saying that there is already a thread up on the delay; yeah, a LOCKED thread.  Besides, my video mostly defended Bioware, so WTF?!?

At the time when you posted the thread there was a thread almost as large as this one right on the front page, not locked.   There was also a new thread whining about RtO appearing every 15 minutes or so, which probably put tolerance levels a lot lower.   You were locked not because you defended or ridiculed bioware, but because the forums were being spammed by the same topic over and over.

Bioware must be a bit dense if they thought that posting "It's not out yet. We'll tell you when" on the day it was supposed to be out would not spark a mad flood of posts.
