No mater how much everyone complains and wishes the DLC would come out, it won't come out until it's ready. You don't take a cake out of the oven, half baked.

The cake isn't half baked, it's fully baked and from secret sources pretty damn tasty. The reasons for delay is something else. Can't be discussed on this forums though.

That's about all I can contribute to this discussion, I'm afraid.

I just had to say, thank you for making me laugh, loved reading this, and I agree with you completely.  Well, mostly completely, I'm a bit too shy to do silly responses.

Well, this is only speculation and such, but it worked out in the past. Prior to the release, about a week I believe, of Mass Effect's Pinnacle Station DLC the achievements showed up on Xbox.com. So it was a pleasant surprise this morning when I went to look at my account and noticed a new, secret achievement showing for Dragon Age.

Like I said, certainly not an announcement or confirmation, but does provide a possibility of the DLC coming soon.

Don't ever remind me of Pinnacle Station... :?

Pinnacle Station Pinnacle Station Pinnacle Station.....  hmmm I figured if I said it three times it might apear and make funny faces to cheer you up.

Or bite heads off of kittens.

Well the thing that i am worried about with all these delays is that also i have a feeling that they are gonna delay awakening big time.
if it take more than 2 months to fix a 30 minutes DLC, then its gonna take a longer time to make sure Awakening is perfect.
Two to three months for a 15 hour game to come out sounds unrealistic to me if you ask.

There is a chance the Awakening team and the RTO DLC team are seperate ones. Can you imagine how bad the team leader for RTO will look if awakening comes out on time? I'll be sending out resumes if i was one the RTO team.

To TastyLaksa: Is Laksa all that tasty? I'd like to know. And.....keep posting, I love reading your responses.

To whoever made the comment about Duncan's beard as DLC: Yes, I would gladly pull it from his face and paste it to my own, if it would give me +5 Dexterity.

Eh, depends on the chef. I've had some pretty bad servings in my life. But some good ones, too.

And really, I don't get why people are complaining about this. Patience is a virtue, people. I'd rather play the DLC free of anything bad.

Well I'm just excited to know it's coming...should be a lot of fun I think :)

Better to let them take their time and get it right than to rush and fubar stuff imo

IF the pirate rumor is true...I think it would be funny if BioWare immortalized the culprit in some future DLC as an NPC that we all get to destroy in a side quest or main quest...they have a sense of humor and I can guarantee that all of the fans would greatly appreciate the opportunity to take part in venting and ridiculing the bum for ruining it for the rest of us who buy and play games legally...

That is still under the assumption it wasn't intended to be leaked. Care to be more naive?

Why would they choose to leak it intentionally?

Wow, I understand the annoyance about the dlc coming out late twice but I seriously think some of you just like to bust balls. Give em a break for crying out loud. I'm sure there is more than enough pressure on them to fix whatever it is and get it out to us.

note the "IF" in front of the post... and the only time a company will leak something is if there is a profit in doing so...there is no upside for BioWare in leaking the DLC at all.  There was no upside for them not to elease it at christmas when everyone would have bought it without hesitation.  Fans are flaming the company and it is all over the internet. this only brings negative attnetion to the company which could hurt it's bottom line.  companies are funded through their shareholders and if they get nervous they drop the stock which leads to the value of the company going down, etc, etc.  Do you really think that any company would want this much negative publicity in todays market.  There was no intentional leak.  it's a glitch, pirate or certification hangup...there are no real alternatives to explain it.  i think it's pretty naive and self important to think that any company that is in the business of making money is going to withwold a product or service from its consumers until the demand has gone away...which is happening right now.

Yeah which is why it's ironic he's saying it's 'naive' to have the assumption that it;s not leaked intentionally. It's more naive to have conspiracy theories no? Occam's razor and what not.

The only thing naieve is believing that the general opinion expressed on the internet, particularly forums, represents the attitude of customers as a whole.

People will ****** and moan to high holy hell on the internet, but when you confront them face to face and try to get a genuine answer from their mouth, they're more polite and...intelligent, about their complaints.

i never said that i believed that the forum represent the majority of us. i simply stated that some people had already choose to move past it...most seem to be ready to put it down for ME2. personally, i am still eagerly waiting for RtO. this game has been one of the most most satisfying RPG's i have ever played (and i started gaming with games like Zork - yeah i'm old so what.) and i'll take any content they publish. DAO will see plenty of play on my system. personally i think that everyone who is (unrealistically) complaining about it being delayed just needs to shut up and learn to defer their instantaneous gratification and stop the culture of self-indulgence/importance that we now have running amok in our society. unfortunately it is this group of people that are the most vocal in their outrage and self-importance and that is how the general population of non-gamers sees us all.
