Nothing of worth would have been lost. This thread, just like any thread on RtO, is useless. It provides the forum with nothing but clutter; there is zero information here that hasn't been stated in a sticky.

i don't think it's nuts to pay for the content...if we don't pay for it ultimately we are hurt the most...if it doesn't sell they wont make any more content or sequels

T1l: this isn't for information from BioWare, it is for us to talk to each other as fans. if it is concrete information we want we should go to their official updates not to a page for fans (mostly) to vent and discuss things with each other

Thats has got to be the dumbest move ever, because there not going to change anything huge in a week or two, maybe add an item, and that fails when you can only get it on PC, not XBOX or PS3

So, what exactly do you want to talk about? We can't talk about the topic candidly, else the thread will be locked. Unless we can be honest, why bother?

It's giving us a forum to vent and to talk about how delicious laksa is. I think that's useful in some way no?

On the hand those people talking about the leak. Come on. Stop trying to go for fastest thread lock record now.

Please don't discuss or encourage software piracy in our forums. THat's a real fast way to get the thread locked. And talking so much about downloading any unauthorized software product counts, so let's please get back on topic and stop spreading misinformation. Thanks.

That's not true. I've been nothing but candid. Not been banned yet have I? Also the only lock was cause of the discussion on leaked stuff which is against forum rules.

T1l: because this isn't about "the answer" it's about chilling out and just venting a little steam. chances are that the answer that they have given us is going to be the answer they stick with , true or not, but really at this point does it even matter. it's coming out. they aren't going to shelf the game or the content or even future content. some of the best RPG's ever to hit the market were produced by this company...do you really think that this hic-up is really that important in the long run? BioWare is going to continue to publish great titles and we are all going to buy them...because we are gamers...we love this stuff and even this drama llama that we are all riding right now...how about we all just chill vent the rest of the frustration, get back in a good mood and just play the DLC when it comes out..ultimately that is why we are here in this forum. we are just blowing off steam because there isn't much else that we can do at this point.

and as far as the moderators go...thanks...i know there isn't much worse than a mob of raving fanboys and you guys have really had to put up with some crap the last few days. i think you guys have all treated us fairly. people agreed to certain rules when they began posting on these threads and they break the rules that leads to the banhammer. i think it's been pretty fair and justified. keep up the good work

Oh oh I have another conspiracy theory. I know why this DLC is delayed. Cause now people get angry and say "There is no way I will be playing this once mass effect 2 is out. I will play that instead" and people like me will be going "Mass effect? What is that?". So the sales of mass effect 2 is going to go up just because of that. So now instead of waiting impatiently for DA:O DLC, I will be waiting impatiently for DA:O and ME2 DLC. Dual income streams FTW.

Well, I personally can't seperate the two. RtO and its respective leak are one and the same at this point. Stanleys' comment only serves to reinforce what I'm saying - we can't discuss it openly and like adults, else threads get locked. No one here would encourage that kind of behaviour at all - all of us here support Bioware.

So, what? We go back to off-topic filler like how tasty noodles are? (and they are tasty). Awesome. No worries. As I said, nothing of worth would be lost if this thread got locked. There's nothing here but talk of tasty noodles.

Well Bioware knows that unless they release the DLC this week, only madness shall reign.

How can there be MORE madness than there was already on 5th january? I would have said we had a thread count expansion bubble. If i was in the finance industry, I would have been selling options on thread count number. Exponential growth baby!

Basically discussing it is advertising it, it's not a difficult concept so don't do it.

Talking about piracy in these threads is like cussing in church.

Piracy is like finding out the cleaning lady (no offense to all the honest cleaning ladies out there) has been swiping $10.00 from your wallet every time she comes to clean. It isn't much each time she does it but that adds up over months and years. So does piracy. The folks that write the code for these games have families to feed too. Piracy is piracy whether it is stealing software or ships off Somalia.

from the standpoint of BioWare this isn't about having an open discussion it is simply about the multitudes of people who appear to be advocating an illegal activity on their own website. this isn't about treating us like adults it's about legal reprecussions and the ramifications of the supposed leak.put yourself in their position..you own this site and you have people telling other where to get an illegal download that is cosing you money everytime someone does it...what would you do...they are doing what they feel is right for the company and i am sure i am not the only one that agrees with them. this site is theirs they make the rules we have to opperate within those parameters

as a loyal, paying costumer, do we have the right to be concerned about whats happening in BW? what the hell happened and why was there a leak. is it because their own carelessness? and what about the delays? they have been silence about it. what are the reasons? everyone should be concerned because most of us are paying costumers and some people arent.

Is it out now? I've seen that TastyLaksa just unlocked the achievement for the DLC.

Then, as has been already stated, this thread serves no purpose whatsoever, except maybe allowing people to vent, which again doesn't help or contribute into anything. Nothing new has been stated and it's logical to assume nothing new will be stated about RtO, except its inevitable release, when Bioware deems it ready for release.

The truth of the matter is Bioware brought this on themselves. Sadly, I cannot elaborate on this statement any further without "discussing the leak" and getting the topic locked (which should have already happened anyway). Suffice to say that it is ridiculously easy to get information on how (roughly) the leak occured. The whole current situation with RtO is a freaking disaster, any way you look at it. With each day that passes and RtO continues to be officially "unreleased", more and more profiles appear with the DLC items and the new achievement. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that sales have already sustained some kind of "damage" (hopefully nothing major but it shouldn't have to be that way). The worst part of all of this, is that a DLC whose duration/content doesn't really exceed an hour of pure gameplay, has been escalated to a major topic, because of the delays, the leak and generally the horrible way this whole situation has been handled. RtO simply doesn't deserve that much attention.
