As for Mr. Melo. I have to thank you for at least giving us a small portion of knowing that the DLC is very close to being patched up. Hopefully this means that after it's released, everyone can sit back, and enjoy some relaxation. I know you guys have got to be wanting to strangle quite a few of us in the forums, and I can't blame you.

If ever you are looking into the "leaked" version, I hope in the following days that you would give us the comparison between the leaked version and the real final version. Some peoples confidence are waning and they want assurance for the quality of the future products that your company will produce.
I'm not gonna lie, I don't know how you feel as a company. I know you want RtO to be released with the highest possible quality. But then again, RtO is just a tiny footnote in your company's resume. A $4, hour-long DLC. A tiny content and everybody went berserk. What about your future projects? If this happens again I don't know if people will be less tolerable.

We -are- working on it. We're communicating that as much as we are able to. It is in the final stages of testing as of end of day today. We're close. Why, or how, does that make you feel like you are being treated like a child? Being upset, I can certainly understand - and share the sentiment.
Ah, this gives me hope! *crosses fingers*

If they are about to finish testing today, that means we still get another week before M$ and Sony/PS3 finish the certification process.

I’m so proud of you.
That’s all people are looking for, better updates.
I mean if your not going to tell us the why, tell us what’s being done and how far along what is being done is. Even if your not giving an ETA, saying things like, its off to testing, or we just did this, or that, or looks like we fixed the bug, but it opened 50 more, expect delays. Lead Dev got into a car crash , broke his leg, expect delays.
When this sort of things happens, constant updates are a good thing. Trust me, you just deal with people online, that again you don’t have to deal with.
I deal with very angry, very redneck people all the time that would not think twice about punching you for not having the right answer.

I tip my cap to the ladies and gentlemen at BIOWARE for taking pride in the products they produce. I would expect no less from them than any other company I choose to do business with.
As for this purported bootleg version, I hope that the people at BIOWARE and the powers that be can stem the flow and if possible justifiably prosecute the individuals for copyright infringement.
Unless you are a gaming programmer and /or infinitely familiar with the engine used to power the game, a description of the problem would most likely confuse you/us even more. And if you are a gaming programmer and /or infinitely familiar with the engine used to power the game, you should know that sometimes the smallest bug can create the biggest problem, whatever it may be.
Games have been delayed and release dates missed since computers and gaming consoles became common place.
And I can't think of a single miss that caused a true catastrophe. Even if they scrap this DLC entirely, which I doubt they would do, I don't see it as a world ending event.
Disappointments are a fact of life, but I seriously doubt that BIOWARE would intentionally want to disappoint any of their fans.

Are you serious? Do you know what kind of gargabe other companies release as 'DLC'?? Yes this is $5 content but look how much time and care is going into it? If this wasnt Bioware the content would already be released. It shows alot to have such care put into a $5 piece of content and if anything you should respect that.
Are you basically saying that you're glad the content got leaked? I really hope to god you're not. Next time when theres a few bugs maybe it will be released? Obviously it goes unappreciated and this 'leak' is like spitting in their face. It makes me sick.

Say what you will, BIOWARE has produced some of the best games I have ever played. Blah blah blah like many others on this forum, you're acting like an annoying ****. These things happen. Take it easy. I want to play RtO as much as anyone else here, but I'm not going to jump down Bioware's throat as I highly doubt the inability to meet their own date was due to neglect, laziness, or sloppiness given the quality of their products.
I've been in their shoes before. Nothing is more irritating in realizing that you couldn't meet a date largely due to factors outside of their own control (unforseen bugs, management changes their mind, new customer specifications, etc) but still eating crap from 30 different end users from the same company while the culprit (usually management) gets off easy and doesn't have to answer to legions of pissed off people
And the truth is, unless you're familiar with the source code and have a lengthy programming background, you probably WONT understand what the bug is and what it means. It's that simple. It'll end up confusing half of the people here and open up to more questions

I'm sure they have good reasons for delaying the release. I can wait a bit longer. Though I do hope hope they release it soon. But people will complain as they do. Yahtzee said it best

That's misquoted IMO. He was referring to unjustified complaints and ideas of what the game should be like. For example if i said
"Mages should have back stab skills!" or "Omg nerf mages" or "Omg too many warriors"
not nearly the same as
"Why is the DLC delayed last minute?"

Blah blah blah....like many others in this forum, you think you can justify and scream at me because I asked a simple question. Grow up....it is silly for you to assume that I have no idea how to code...you do not know me, you do not know what I am capable of or what my degrees are in. Like I said, did your mother ever teach you about what happens when you assume. I asked a simple question, I got an answer, I said okay I wasn't going to argue at now..4:43am because it is pointless to argue on only 3 hours of sleep. Sooo...bite me?

If there was no "Holiday Season" and "January 5" then this wouldnt happen. I dont care if they release it on May as long as they dont give us false hopes for $4, hour-long DLC.

So you're saying Bioware is lying for having just posted that te leaked version is incomplete and they have been working on the DLC and that they are not going to rush the release?
