Personally, I do hope people who actually play the bootleg get all their DLC deauthorized and/or banned from this forum.

Highly unlikely. I don't think Bioware has the minerals.

They have a really, really easy way of tracking who is using the DLC. If they were planning on doing anything, they would have done it by now.

How can you be certain?  Maybe the delay might involve something they plan on doing with that.

Last I recalled, that certain subject was deemed unmentionable by the devs and yet people still keep bringing it up and then wondering why topics keep getting locked?

We've run out of things to be angry about cause the developers have already come in to say that they working on adding stuff. Thus proving all the conspiracy theorists wrong.

Guys, honestly! You are being so erouighaerug rude. Zip those mean mouths and accept the TRUTH. You have a DEVELOPER actually letting you know as much as he can give out, you should be happy with just that. You are acting like a bunch of spoiled brats.

Fernando Melo, how is it that you actually continue to post reply's to some people who make it evident they aren't going to listen? You have MUCH more patience than I do. What I don't understand is this why people can't accept that RTO isn't out, its being worked on, it will come out some time, but yet they feel its still necessary to clog up post with complaints. Would I like to know what was changed on the DLC - yes. Was I looking forward to the DLC coming out on time - yes. Did it - no. Have I found anything telling me what needed to be changed - no. Final out-come....who cares?! Wait for it to come out and enjoy the game they gave you and that on the forums they actually take the time to respond. Me not having RTO has given me a chance to finish remodeling my kitchen, almost finish making another room downstairs and given me some free time to myself. Make the best of it. I know what I say isn't going to make it through to many people who just like to hear themselves though.

And for those of you wandering where this adds up to questions about RTO, I would still like to know what changes were made if that info is out yet. :)

This really is not all that hard to figure out. BioWare flat out stated that they may have to wait and release RtO on all platforms at the same time. I believe they stated the Sony release date was some time around the 20-23rd. That is when we will get RtO IMO. They are not going to be so crazy as to allow it to be released AFTER the 26th and Mass Effect/2.

We -are- working on it.  We're communicating that as much as we are able to.  It is in the final stages of testing as of end of day today.  We're close.  Why, or how, does that make you feel like you are being treated like a child?  Being upset, I can certainly understand - and share the sentiment.

Thanks @Fernando for your reasonable responses. I generally stay out of this stuff, but I just can't believe how agitated people have become over something that won't matter a month from now.

Any news on what are the new trophies for Return to Ostagar? Just out of curiosity. (I already got platinum, but i don't mind adding a few more trophies before Awakening becomes available).

I just had a crazy thought, how would Loghain and Anora react if you walked up to them wearing Cailan's armour during the official campaign?

Grey Wardens - Looters of dead Kings!

Yay, Loghain is right, they are traitors, they even loot the corpses of Ferelden's King :P

FOllowed by the PC killing everyone. And i mean everyone. Then at the end we assist the darkspawn to take over the world.

Indeed...

Today! Ferelden!

Tomorrow! THE WORLD!

Morrigan: "so PC what are we going to do tonight?"
PC: "Sane thing we do every night.  Try to take over the world!"

Sorry I had a pinky and the Brain moment.

Why, that doesn't prove us wrong at all  Us  conspiracy theorists will lurk near every shadow, ready to make startling accusations at a moments notice! :alien:

Firstly, A dev pops in here and say he WON'T,absolutely won't mention the bug because of peoples criticisms on if it deserved a delay. The way he worded it, it doesn't seem like he will say after the release since people will ask if it was worth the delay then too.

So no mentioning the bug that may delay the DLC for weeks despite MANY requests to know - check.

He also says he didn't play the so called early build of the game. The one with no bugs and that looks complete to those P's that played em.

No acknowledging why the leak is bugless because he won't play it= check.

He says it's a "early build" ...wait what? Firstly, if he never played it how can he be sure it's a "early build" ?
He also mentions RTO is nearly finished and they're adding things to it...wait....wait

....wait..

Isn't that what I was saying all along?!

They're adding things to RTO and it's nearly finished. As in they're adding content to RTO when the DLC was supposed to be ready and delayed only to a bug. All evidence points towards them adding in stuff to the DLC and postponing it a few weeks due to this. Only exception is maybe liscensing issues with Microsoft/Sony. Wasn't DA:O delayed on the PC because they wanted it released at the same time as the console versions?

Now it was mentioned, why would BW do this? If the fans are upset over the delay, how do the devs feel? Well now I probably do sound like a conspiracy theorist but I bet it was a EA decision not a bioware decisions. Those who say this makes no sense because what potential profit caused this should remember it's EA. Spore with it's DRM, the failed warhammer online, Sims 3 being a diet sims 2 with microtransactions...I must say I had some bad experiences with EA. :(

Anyway, if RTO is delayed for more content then great! If it's a bit more dialogue/story, then even greater! Word on the street is it's lacking in those compartments. The real issue is the missed release dates and saying it's due to a bug. Remember, if it wasn't for the leak, no one can be positive there really is no earth-shattering bug. So the "it's a bug" excuse is a great excuse, until a disgruntled BW worker leaks out his work in anger over management telling him there will be a delay. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/devil.png[/smilie]

Wish some of you people had the balls to step back and take a look at yourselves. You wouldn't be happy if they gave you up to the minute updates on exactly what is transpiring at their offices, and the moment anything comes up which slows down the project, even if its completely out of their control, you'd just explode in, yet another, childish fit of nerd rage.

"HOW DARE A RECENT 9.6 EARTHQUAKE BRING DOWN THE DATABASE SERVER! I DEMAND REPARATIONS! WHAT DO YOU MAKE YOUR SERVERS OUT OF?! TIN FOIL!?"

@the Bioware community managers: thanks for staying patient with us all. The folks at Bioware have yet to let me down on product quality and, as such, I trust this wait will be worth it.

cheers

Why bother?  People like you will just make up crazy crap about whatever he says anyways.   Nothing will ever be 'good enough' for certan people in this 'community' .  Just because you think you have the right to know something doesn't make it true.

He also says he didn't play the so called early build of the game. The one with no bugs and that looks complete to those P's that played em.

Since only bugged, early versions made it to servers it is easy enough to use logic(something you obviously have never heard of) to say that the leaked version must be an earlier one, and since all earlier versions had the bug, that the leaked version therefore has the bug.    Do you want me to type that slower for you?  Maybe use a pop-up picture book?

Fernando,
I think what alot of people are suspicious about; Is the probability that the delay of release of the PC version was caused by marketing and not a software or hardware problem with the PC version. Wasn't this game originally designed for the PC and was/is being ported to the other platforms ? And the owners of the PC version are being denied the release because a certain platform manufacturer complained ? Which is totally wrong. Just look at how they control their own platform games; they release them before a PC port is provided !! So why in heavens name should BW cater to them ? If they want your software ported to their platform they should cater to you, not the other way around.
