You guys can't get a patch out for the console versions or get the DLC out but you can announce something like this

http://www.escapistm...t-Mass-Effect-3

C'mon this is a joke.

Do you happen to know that game developers actually have different teams? Just saying...

Right, there are 2 different Teams working on 2 different Games. One Team has nothing to do with the other! They are just working for the same Developer.

I can see squid5580 point but Abriael is right there be differing teams. I bet it has been delayed due bug in the main game on the PC. The box and PS are not to bad to program for only one set of hardware. Pc use lots of differing ones they all should run on DX but Bioware tweek the game to it push on of what DX does so they have to get the game to run on lots of differing hardware. Note the game will only run on ATI and NVIDIA graphic cards. The other DLC add lots of more bug to the mix so I bet here trying to sort them all out.

At lest the hold the DLC for ever one and not putting on some platforms and not other. It is will out when I do. Me I only pay for games two days before they are out I and I know there in the shops.

As AndreaDraco has mentioned, you are free to discuss RtO's delay as much as you like (and we encourage you to do so), so long as you respect the forum rules. I suggest for those looking for more information, Fernando's community update can be found in the sticky thread here:

social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/9/index/576445

Updates will come as we have them available. Thanks again to those who have been so understanding. As a writer and a developer who comes here on my free time, I'd really much rather not have to make these sorts of posts. Image IPB

Sorry, I have to disagree with this too.  I made a post with a link to a video I made voicing my opinions on the delay and was almost immediately locked by the mod saying that there is already a thread up on the delay; yeah, a LOCKED thread.  Besides, my video mostly defended Bioware, so WTF?!?

Hey man, I linked your video in this very thread and this ain't locked!

There is a BWe guy who is actually an automat and keeps closing threads even if the posts are actually on topic but the AI doesn't recognize it as such.

"That thing doesn't sleep, it goes down for maintenance" as a friend of mine said!

At the time when you posted the thread there was a thread almost as large as this one right on the front page, not locked.   There was also a new thread whining about RtO appearing every 15 minutes or so, which probably put tolerance levels a lot lower.   You were locked not because you defended or ridiculed bioware, but because the forums were being spammed by the same topic over and over.

SWAG: at that time there was a thread open (the 'RtO Both Good and Bad news' thread that was just locked yesterday). Probably Stan should have pointed you in that direction, but whether it's praise or condemnation, the practice here is to try to keep discussion of any particular subject in one thread.

No mater how much everyone complains and wishes the DLC would come out, it won't come out until it's ready. You don't take a cake out of the oven, half baked.

My guess is when RTO is finished and for sure ready to be released that only then will Bioware give a release update. After their problems with missed launch dates for this DLC I don't think they will leave anything to miss this time.

Hmmmm well at least my suspicion about the update going hand and hand with RtO was accurate. Saddening however. Wanted my archer to get all beastmode.

Well, this is only speculation and such, but it worked out in the past. Prior to the release, about a week I believe, of Mass Effect's Pinnacle Station DLC the achievements showed up on Xbox.com. So it was a pleasant surprise this morning when I went to look at my account and noticed a new, secret achievement showing for Dragon Age.

Like I said, certainly not an announcement or confirmation, but does provide a possibility of the DLC coming soon.

That is a rather odd comment having seen and posted on
several of these RTO threads since early December. Anyway, TastyLaska i like
the thread title, it says it all really if you have been following these forums
in regards to Bioware's radio silence over details of RTO's release problems.

Ginasue wrote...

So lets be honest about the situation of the RTO DLC with some information for all the loyal yet frustrated Bioware customers out there with some honest information ...

Q. Is RTO DLC ready for a playable, bug free release?   A. Yes

Q. Has RTO been released by Bioware?                            A. No

Q. Has RTO been released by Bioware?                            A. Yes

...lets let that sink in for a moment...

Unfortunately for Bioware, this is a path that most gamers
will take even though they have already bought their 400 points in anticipation
of RTO. Bioware's problems in getting the authorised version out there are  probably out of their hands and most likely
because of microsoft/sony being slack in their processing of the title.
However, as Bioware's has remained tight lipped over the progress details (yes
i know they have commented but it has all been very general without any
specifics) many customers who bought Dragon Age / Warden's Keep/ Stone
Prisoner/Return to Ostagar feel uninformed. Thus the reason behind so many of
the comments made in previous RTO threads resulting in their closure due to
"breaking forum rules".

Closing threads regarding RTO is a bad gesture from Bioware
no matter what comments have been made within it. You don’t close threads
because a few people spoil it, you ban people if they consistently ignore your
warnings. This way you just have one big thread with people who are on topic and
minimal whining. Cant handle big threads? then upgrade user's search options so
people have more control over searching for the info they want.

Even though waiting is frustrating, I also rather have to wait and get RtO bug free. Can you image how frustrated you'd feel if you would have played for a bit and THEN found out there's something majorly wrong?

We all should be adults, since the game is 18+, so we should all be able to show some patience.
Though, I guess it's kind of a compliment that so many people are waiting so anxiously!

yeah i agree totally the waits not so bad plus there still a ton of stuff to do in dao for instances now playing as en evil evil person and seeing a whole new gameplay experience open up to me

Do I want to play RtO? Yes! Image IPB

Am I sad that I can't get it yet? Yes! Image IPB

Do those who have, or claim to have, an illicit copy deserve to be whipped? Yes! Image IPB

Am I staying busy playing DA:O over and over? Yes! Image IPB

Is there too much drama in this discussion? Yes! Image IPB

Will I ever stop posting silly responses in this forum, and repent at my local Chantry? Probably not! Image IPB

That's about all I can contribute to this discussion, I'm afraid.

I just had to say, thank you for making me laugh, loved reading this, and I agree with you completely.  Well, mostly completely, I'm a bit too shy to do silly responses.

Is it possible for Bioware to remove the irritating line that shows RTO as available in the DLC section of the game until release of the final RTO?
