What difficulty are you playing? Are you using the pause function to command everyone? Using pause between every attack is useful, and remember that Alistair's Shield Bash can cause the Ogre to release party members in its grasp. Not always though, but it's useful to know.

If i remember right the Ogre is susceptible to knockdowns, so if either Alistair or yourself have the shield bash ability that might be helpful.
This is a tough fight for sure because of the low level you fight him at, you basic strategy is just going to be throw everything you have at him - use potions/poisons and just hope you can drop him before he drops you.

The easiest way is probably to lower the difficult setting if possible.
Make sure you use a stun ability when the ogre grabs one of the characters.
Otherwise you could try and grab aggro with a char and then run around in a circle with the ogre chasing you and let your other party members attack with ranged.

That default mage has a paralysis spell I believe. Make use of it, kite the ogre around as necessary (using the mage) - zot him with lightning/whatever when it's safe, but make sure the default mage doesn't get squished (and save any lyrium pots for the fight). I also tossed the mage's weakness spell at the ogre too I think. You may want to try setting the guard's tactics to archer/ranged (whatever it's called).

First times I tried, I failed on both Hard (my original setting) and Normal. I set it to Easy just to get past it then.
Now I kill it on Hard without taking much damage on any party member. These things helped:
1) Keep the non-tank softie characters ranged and away from the ogre. Take control of the ones the ogre is attacking and run away. Meanwhile, the other characters continued to damage it. Eventually, the ogre aggros some other character. Then I protect that new target.
2) The ogre combat fly-over text will warn when he's about to crush his target. When that happens, use a stun or hold spell or attack (knockdowns work too, sometimes). This interrupts the ogre's killer specials.
3) Don't be shy about using the pause feature to help time your interrupts of the Ogre's special attacks and use heal spells and potions when available.

One of the steps that really helped me during my fight with the Ogre was to simply changing the Mage's tactics before I entered the fourth floor of the tower.
I knew there was only going to be one enemy inside, so I used:
Nearest visible enemy > Weakness
Nearest visible enemy > Paralyze
Glyph of Paralysis also helped me out during this fight when I was playing as a mage. Turns out the Ogres are super susceptible to being paralyzed. xD
