Corporations like EA are a cluster**** of contracts, shareholders, and PR. Anything going out, from games to announcements, has to be agreed upon by all three of these. Don't expect expect any kind of official information at anytime unless they give a specific date for an announcement, and even then, don't complain if that information doesn't technically come out until it's past that date for you, because timezones are a thing that exist and EA probably isn't bound to yours in any way.
