Cerberus off-host and Reapers are the easiest factions by far.

A few days ago, I spaced a phantom with lifting shockwave.... she literally tumbled into the atmosphere... I did a little happy dance, looked back up, and there she was, using her palms as rocket boosters to lower herself back to the ground... what the.... really?

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's witnessed their health/barriers regenerating while they're cloaked. Cyonan's said it's not possible, but I've seen it literally every time I play Cerberus. Maybe we should get dev clarification on this...?

Dear Blind To Society

Our staff find your reference to the Cerberus Machine irreverant and cute.

   Our lawyers do not.

If you do not cease and desist, you will find yourself in a court of law, surrounded by angry Care Bears with their rainbows locked and loaded.

We Care Bears are not all smiles and sunshine, you know.

What is baffling to me is how 4 phantoms spawn on wave 10 Cerberus gold. You'll turn a corner and see 4 phantoms spawn and sprint towards you. On host this is a nightmare even if you're loaded out specifically. I'll usually rocket a pack of them after the objective is finished because they can annihilate a squad so fast.

Phantoms alone are manageable. Phantoms with goons around? Fkn stupid.

A lone phantom alone is manageable.

Aren't lone phantoms usually alone?

A single phantom alone is manageable. Meaning, a phantom with other stuff = ridiculous pain in the rear. 3 phantoms without other stuff = ridiculous pain in the rear. A single phantom without other stuff = manageable.

For me, my feelings on phantoms depend on what class I’m playing. As a Volus Adept or Drell Assassin I love them, because cloak + stasis or cloak + recon mine = phantom pieces all over the place. On less mobile/stealthy classes though, my main issue with phantoms is that they have a rapid-fire sniper rifle in their hand which is used from everywhere on the map, without warning; at least the Nemesis has that sound/red laser beam to warn you to her presence.

Aside from the phantom issue, I hate Dragoons. I typically plays as the aforementioned Drell, so I have no issue killing them (even a Dragoon with stagger resistance blows up), but I find their attacks lame as hell. As OP mentioned, the lack of any real delay between their attacks just feels cheesy, and I really feel for anyone playing a class that isn’t particularly mobile when these guys start doing their full-retard bum rush.

This.  Before the addition of the trollectors, dragoons and bombers, it was harder to say that they weren't the toughest faction... but now it's like (U/U/G) "oh yay it's reapers!"

Isn't it ironic that we're supposed to be waging war on the reapers who... are in actuality probably the 'weakest link'?

Yeah, to be honest my only annoyance with Reapers is that I still
run into Sync-kill lag issues with the Banshees, otherwise they’re okay in my
book.

It’s strange and a little bit disappointing to me that the
once-feared Reapers are now the faction everybody wants to play.

Space NInjas: cut in half the damage and range of palm blaster, remove sync-kill ability, allow them to perma-cloak until barriers are drained (like hunters)
Goons: increase recharge of abilities so they don't spam as much, give them some audible clues so they don't stealth up on you (so annoying)

As a balance point for these nerfs, add the ability for centurions or engineers to place shield pylons. This would make the otherwise stupid easy carebear mooks more of a genuine threat. Overall it would make cerb more interesting and tactical to fight against instead of "search for phantom and dragoon, kill immediately" while brushing off the rest.

What I do not like since the last Patch is that everytime i charge an Atlas now they seem to be able to catch me mid charge and OHK me.

I also have noticed the stab-happiness of the phantoms lately but Scorpion = Phantom killer

I usually run away from Phantoms on last few waves of Gold.

i'd agree with this. Reapers easily the weakest faction, as long as you dont get caught by Ravager crossfire.

Cerberus is next, as long as you dont run into turrets. Phantoms are a pain though.

Then Geth with endless stunlock, trigger happy rocket troopers, Pyros who can flame you without a flame animation and Geth Primes with ridiculous numbers of pet drones.

Then collectors with exploding abominations, nuking possessed abominations, ridiculous good aim of possessed scion grenades, praetorians firing butt lasers even when dead and endless powerblock bubbles.

I'd rather got to Melee against Dragoons with any non-sniper character, as it stops them from shooting me. Phantoms just become worse because they naturally become a peripheral target, being much more subtle than the glowing whips all over.

Phantoms are only a problem as Host, as the DR makes everything except grenades almost useless, unless you have a stagger gun. Stagger guns I don't use because sidearms are for scrubs (jk).

Play as an Assguard with stasis bubble when you play the Carebears.

My big beef with them lately is the Atlas and it's invisble shooting.  When it fiores rockets no problem but it's reguarl attacks I can never see until my health is mangled.

The Phantom is my favorite enemy in the game because of her skills! She's unique and there is a lot of satisfaction in killing one. I'm glad that Bioware isn't paying any attention to whining topics like these. Phantoms FTW

I haven't rage quit in months, but I biotic charged a freshly spawned phantom and then got sync killed immediately afterwards right at the beginning of a wave. Absolutely SOUL crushing. I was defeated... couldn't go on.

That's no fun.

And they move in perfect formation while bent over. Off host players won't understand how terrifying that is.

Phantoms are brutally OP and dragoons are super annoying, but honestly, my Asariguard, Drellguard, and Slayer can all make pretty quick work of both, even in groups. They're much worse if you're more reliant on weapons, I think, even though they have their bubble.

Asariguard - Charge, throw two grenades directly at the floor so that no one does the invincibubble.
Drellguard - Charge + CGs for groups, Pull for single ones if I get their barriers down quickly.
Slayer - PD all the things! Only really works on host...

Let's pretend bioware tweaked all your problems for a moment.. This would make the game shockingly easy for people that are better than you. I for one, have no problem with goons or phantoms.
