According to ISHTGDDT's armor, it still loses lol.  Claymore will do the job, just slower.

Nope, point is that, if you take number of shots possible in the same amount of time, the extra damage overcomes less shots and beats out a Wraith that's not level X, and beats a level X Wraith against armor.

Don't agree with you 100%, but Graal is pretty underrated in my opinion.

The fact you can spam charged shots with only a small ROF hit means it can get some very nice DPS against bosses. For everything else, there's headshots.

Graal would be the best Shotgun if, and only if, it could pierce.  No cover penetration.  No multi-kill shots.  No free/glitched damage on Atlases.  That's the only thing that really kills it for me.  I've come expect to see multiple things die at least a few times a game with any hard hitting weapon.  I'm also spoiled by shooting whatever I want, regardless of how much cover is between me and it (bless you Drill Rounds III and native piercing guns).

Lol this Wraith vs Claymore argument is like the Blood vs. Crips. I hereby recommend that the supporters of each gun join their gang and violently murder the other gang when they see each other.

Sure, you have to move your thumb for like.. a centimeter, but seriously: reload canceling with action/roll/cover works just fine o,o

@Thread: Yeah.. I don't have the Wraith on a high level, so the Claymore performs a whole lot better for me.

In that case I would just use the Raider/Harrier/Hurricane/Piranha or other better boss killing weapons in the game.

I could even use the Hurricane and the Wraith with a lower total weight penalty than just using the Claymore.  

Face it: aesthetic preference is what leads everyone to select the Claymore.

Wraith and Harrier are only 2 truly no-brainer main weapons that absolutely not care about classes. Of corse Wraith can be better than Claymore. But not always because of wraith fire rate and claymore reload cancel.
