I love my Wraith VI a lot more than my Claymore X. Reasons:

I suck at reload canceling (Xbox)
I frequently use classes where cooldown matters
I can hit targets at a fair distance with the Wraith

Right now the Wraith is my favorite gun, period.

Although, I'm going to buck the trend and agree with Ashen here.  The one exception is on an Infiltrator, since you can only get two shots with cloak bonus with either gun.

From an efficiency point of view, I agree. The point is, I don't give a damn about cooldowns on many kits. On others, I do and I use the Wraith.

From a stylish and feelings point of view... Well I'm sorry, there's no contest.

I'm pretty damned good with both, but better with the Wraith. Claymore's still more fun though, at least for me.

I rock the Wraith a lot more often now that I've got it decently leveled (VII) although it's still among my lowest URs. For a player with the skill to use both optimally, I think the Claymore's probably better if the Wraith is at low levels.

Well, although the ClayMOAR is a very good, nay, a great shotgun.  I can't say, IMHO, that it is better than the Wraith.
Wraith gets the majority of my love.

Seriously though if looking at dps, the claymore has the higher one but that comes with higher weight. Now I wait for Gallows Pole lol.

Wraith and Claymore are both capable of killing anything that isn't a boss in one shot.

If you can't do that with a Wraith it's your own fault for having terrible aim. There are also plenty of other lighter weapons that make a joke of the Claymore.
