You know I read that thread and the 1st thing that popped into my head was, neither you or the Op of that thread has ever played any version of ME3MP besides PC. The frame rate issue is a PC only issue. On xbox your going to get DROPPED if you ever

1. Ran around enemies the way op displayed in video,
2. CANNOT even run in circles that way because we don't have as "easy" controls like that on Xbox.

When you guys actually try the Xbox version of the game rather than blabing off at the mouth as if your doing something special, I'll concider your "master race" as more than just a fools way of trying to convince the world their a genius.

I've played on both the xbox and PC versions, (eariler today) I used to think you guys are pointing and clicking and actually doing something. Your f*cking the biggest posers on the face of the planet. Anyone who says PC version is any more difficult than the Xbox version simply SUCKS at shooter games and probably everything else in life. You have NO F*CKING CLUE what your talking about.

On the other hand, I can see how someone who literally are playing a difficulty of something easier than bronze on would think they are masters at something. PC is so much more open and manuvarable. The only thing about that thread I can even aggree on is the fact that at higher frames my 20 headshots was the smoothest I've ever seen. No wonder you PC players have better games. For you to suck on PC you literally have to be deaf and being tutored on what to do by a blind man. Xbox leechers who aren't even playing the game have a harder time than a PC player. Leechers at least get shot if they aren't playing. The enemies don't even play the same way on PC as they do xbox. PCs "hard at 60+ frames gold drrrr" is xbox 360s NORMAL BRONZE gameplay. I've never in the almost year i've been playing ME3MP had a easier time. You PC guys are full of peanutbutter dogshyt.


And yes I'm mad, mad at whoever plauged Xbox with an almost completely different game.

Holy freaking christ, I go to my sexy dance latin dance class, play some BL2, rage quit a little, do some homework, play some ME3, some more homework... a good 10 or 11 hours later I come back and this thread is still alive and kicking???

@Deerber: I feel so loved! So much better than dance class where my (sh*tty) leads kept on abandoning me Unfortunately, I must really go to bed now, so I am afraid you will have to wait until tomorrow when my prof bores me back into troll-mode (a guarentee with this particular prof).

Seriously, I gotta point out that equating "sucking at shooters" and "sucking at life" is a pretty big jump. But then again, taking life advice from someone who thinks that N7 (or video games at all ftm) are at all important is generally not recommended.

yeah, I'm pretty sure the cooldown allows for power usage to more than make up for the wraith's lesser armor damage.

I put some of this to the test last night.

Without getting into a bunch of details... they're pretty evenly matched, with the Wraith slightly winning out.

Claymore was better on Infiltrators b/c of cloak canceling the cooldowns of the powers.

Why is it always the PC-players in these kind of threads that act like they were born upside down?

It's a close call but the Wraith is better IMO and here's why.

1) On a class that cares about cooldown the damage to weight ratio is heavily in favor of the Wraith, meaning the claymore is a superior option only on classes who don't really care about cooldowns because they have grenades or for any other reasons. Even on those classes the Wraith would be an excellent option.

2) Kinda related to 1) but in pure reload cancel DPS the Claymore only wins by a very small margin. I don't remember the exact figures but it amounts to 860 vs 780 or something like that for the Claymore. Ridiculously close while the weight difference is a lot more in the Wraith's favor.

3) Even with the Wraith's slow refire rate, having 2 shots in the clip is an advantage, no matter what people say. A reload canceled Claymore can come relatively close to the Wraith in terms of speed between shots, but if for some reason you can't complete your reload, you suddently start losing a lot of DPS efficiency. The Wraith offers some security in this regard with its second shot.

4) I saw people mentioning that the Claymore is better because of power reload canceling but this is only true on classes who have grenades, because they don't have to wait for cooldowns and can use grenades to mask the reload animation immediately. In fact the Wraith is much better on classes without grenades for power reload canceling because its firing cycle fits perfectly well between most cooldown based powers.


Also this PC vs console war is stupid, this has nothing to do with what weapon between the Claymore and the Wraith is the best...

Why would I be mad?

For me there's Claymore..and then everything else. It's badass, sounds amazing, and "pulling" the trigger with a key (for me the "F" key) rather than by clicking a mouse button is an experience that no other weapon offers. It kinda feels amazing to kill things by pressing the key..I've loved this feeling since ME2 Claymore Vanguard days.

I do not like Wraith, mainly due to the poor sound effect. So I would not care if it did twice as damage as Claymore..it would still be boring to use for me

If you enjoy the Wraith more, more power to you! 

It's that simple.

erm, well these statements show off how the platform has become 'relevant' to the discussion- you dun need to do any 'tricks' like hide the RC in a power or grenade throw on PC- its just a button press that does nothing if ur not dead. No drawbacks aside form the rare insta-gel if you RC right when you die, and doesn't require some funky thing like only using kits w/o dodges or using up all a grenade/consumable first. The ease of RCing is relevant when you discuss a weapon like the claymore, whose base dps goes up by ~40-50% due to it alone, vs. a gun the Wraith where its only a ~15-20% increase.

But its not news; console players cope with an inferior version of ME3 MP in terms of controls. Nothing I can do about it as a PC player, but enjoy more popcorn at the expense of other people's rage against PC and RCing.. and w/ a thread like this, its been quite a few bucket's worth of entertainment.
