Raider is heavier and its accuracy is very low. For very close combat Raider is slightly better than the Wraith but for almost every situation Wraith is the best gun to use on any class.
Raider's weight is actually perfect for one-cooldown casters such as the Drell Adept because the 1 clip => reload time is comparable to the cooldown of your power. With Wraith you will find your power cooling down faster than you can fire 2 shots and reload, which slows you down especially if your power has a noticeable animaiton (such as Cryo Blast).
"Accuracy" in this game is a joke because
(1) Most maps are very small with completely predictable spawns. This has made spawn nuking a viable tactic, which means any weapon that shoots beyond spawn nuking range already has sufficient range.
(2) All enemies mindlessly rush the players. Even a Nemesis will try to move closer until she's within Raider range. Many enemies (Dragoon, Husks, Abominations) are fast enough to rush players from across the map within 30 seconds.
(3) If you don't want to wait a few seconds for enemies to rush you, you can play one of the many characters in this game which have accuracy boosting powers, movement speed boosting powers, or both, to make weapon range even less meaningful.
(4) Smart Choke. The biggest no-brainer in terms of weapon mods. Smart Choke + Hunter Mode => Raider with practically the same range as Wraith but much better DPS.
