I prefer the Wraith and Graal over the claymore. Only time I used it recently was for a duo challenge. It's collecting dust again.

 

I also prefer both the wraith and the graal.

The obvious is the Wraith has 2 shots as opposed to 1 and you don't have to run right up to stuff and shoot it.  However, it appears that the people I play with wreck with the Claymore X more so than the Wraith X on Platinum.  I don't know why.  The Wraith is also much lighter, but apparently doesn't cause havoc like the Claymore.  I'd still go for a Wraith X if I could GET IT!

The lag between shots on the Wraith is negligibly shorter than the time it takes to RC the Claymoar, ime. Unless you're running a cooldown class, Claymoar > Wraith

For me it is about the rhythm. I've been reload cancelling with the Claymore so long that my timing is completely out of whack when trying to convert to the Wraith. I find myself firing only one round then reloading or due to the firing delay I find that it throws off the rhythm of my powers.
