Claymore > Wraith.

In feel, damage, everything. Honestly, I feel like I can reload cancel and get a 2nd Claymore shot off just as quick as I can get that 2nd Wraith shot off.

for pc users it is not better, they have such a god damn easier game they can get easy headshots of the claymore or they can avoid being hit by walking to the left or right with their frame rates to get the perfect shot

for normal game users, I have always favoured the wraith over claymore, that and Pir are underrated for me

Remember, on PC we're all a bunch of aimbotting, wallhacking, no-spreading, frame rate capping, ini. file tweaking no good sunsabyches.

Because it takes no skill to aim for the head while moving, or to hit moving targets, and we all cap our frames at 20. Just plug in a mouse and own a copy of ME3 and BANG, instant god mode according to our most learned console friends. *turns off sarcasm*

Premise 1: The Wraith feels and sounds like a fart.
Premise 2: The Claymore feels and sounds like a goddamn shotgun.
The conclusion: the Claymore is better than the Wraith.

You can. I just did the math. Perfect reload cancelling is 1 shot every 1.04 seconds. That's unlikely, but 1 shot every 1.10 seconds is still damn good. Wraith is 2nd shot every 1.25 seconds, 3rd shot every 1.79 seconds with perfect reload cancelling (you can't reload until the firing delay is up).

And people wonder why I despise the thing sometimes.

ETA: Right, I'm off to find coffee now.

But still.

And now my work here is done.

Now I will go back to Dark Souls where I will grief players in Sen's Fortress with a Lightning Claymore +5. It's been fun BSN

It is a gold plated shotgun! Why anyone would think that they need more reason than that is beyond me.

Reload cancelling and hitting a headshot is nothing unique to PC. Many of us can do it well, namely this guy here to the left.

What?

Who said that?

No one has said it explicitly, but many ot these responses  are implying that "console peasants" don't understand the Claymore because of RC, which is total nonsense. RCing is perfectly easy to do on a console, as is hitting a headshot.

Isn't RC just used to compensate for bad aim after all ?
If you can aim, use the javelin and kill everything through 3 walls....

Claymore and wraith are just toys compared to a javelin if you can really aim.

Fair point for a sniping sniper type.

If I arm the Claymore, I intend to backhand things to the face followed by a Claymore beheading. Javelin has no melee attachment. Javelin has hipfire penalty. Javelin is not Claymore.

You can still snipe with a Claymore.
it just has slightly less range than a CSR in terms of OHK..

Sorry to say it, but this is the kind of posts I do not like. Complete, utter exaggeration. Try to be more accurate in your statements, you're not helping anyone by saying things like that.

Oh you guys are all ridiculous.

1. Claymoar.
2. 1 second longer cooldowns really hurts me that much?
3. Two shots do not make up for less damage, period.
4. DAT FIRING DELAY.
5. RoF on the Wraith is 48 rpm, or 1.25 second firing delay on that second shot.
6. 1.04 cancelled reload speed or bust!
7. Besides, Claymoar doesn't sound like an empty tin can being banged on a card table.

There is a reason the Wraith is UR and the Claymore isn't.  Wraith might have a firing delay but Claymore needs RC to be effective in alot of case, so that is moot.  The Claymore X would need to compete against a Wraith V to even have a chance, a Wraith X is not even a competition.

I miss PC gaming sometimes. x; headshots for daaaaays.
In terms of scope sway and bullet drop kind of games, console's a bit easier, as long as you have spare time to line up shots anyways.

you know what? I actually think you are right. A wraith can't take a ravager like a claymore does: in 2 shots, and slower with a non-infiltrator/debuffer

Claymore can 1 shot a ravager...

lol...no

Actually you can with a SI debuff from PM and bonus from Cloak and shoot it up close. On Gold.

right... thats why i said "non-infiltrator/debuffer"..... otherwise... its a no

Not to be the serious guy in a troll post... But just so you know. This is wrong. You need to wait for the RoF time before you can start the reload animation. Therefore, you can, at the very best, pull out a shot from the Claymore once every 2.04 seconds =]
