This sounds awesome. More time with or beloved characters (even with ME2 characters). Possible more LI interaction. A Casino with possible mini-games. And as a toping an all new mission with lots of combat.

Yawn, Is it as well done as Omega then I can't imagine that the DLC is good. So I expect nothing.
Paying for it will see what everyone else says first.

Actually, it does. At least a little bit. The edge of one of the Citadel's arms in the upper left corner looks a little torn. The towers however seem to be largely intact. Quite hard to tell.

Interesting fact: Whereas the images released on the BW blog are hi-res, this specific image is not larger than 530x300. At least, I couldn't find a larger one. Intentional...?

EDIT: My bad, just found a source for larger images: http://masseffect.bi...nloads/citadel/ And up close, I'd say, the Citadel looks quite unharmed... Damn it.

Then I was wrong.   I'm not going to get butthurt over it.   I'm speculating for speculations sake.   What I find more interesting is people getting huffy and puffy over it.   Its almost like I'm touching some old wound.    

It all sounds like a good time to me either way.   I would honestly prefer it be post ending.  But I'm not letting that cloud my judgement that most of this only makes sense,  to me,  after the ending.   I have yet to see a valid argment against my points.   Does it bother you so much?

You know what would have been make this one really a piece of beauty? If you gave the players the option to play it post-ending. Like Arrival back in ME2... all you'd have needed would have been a few dialogue variations, a "one year later..." screen or similar, and this could have been both a very fun extra mission for who like ME3's main story as it is, AND the proper final chapter everyone else was looking for.

But I guess I'm just a dumb fanboy who doesn't know anything of marketing or of doing somenthing creative (even though I have a piece of paper and several years of studies that says otherwise).

Did you managed at least to give Tali a romance scene where we actually see her face and not just a rushed photoshop-ed image?

Let's be honest with ourselves here. The Mass Effect 3 writing team doesn't exactly know a lot of tricks, if you know what I mean. You could even say that they collectively form a one-trick pony. Chances are that the grand conspiracy against Shepard involves indoctrinated reaper/Cerberus agents. If this is the case, the plot wouldn't make sense in the post-game.

C'mon, Shep p!seed off half of the galaxy during his roamings. If they wanted somebody different from Cerberus or the Reapers to go after him/her they could have do it.

Well Im excited. It would be truly amazing if they took feedback as they said if James becomes a romance and actually getting to see Talis face in this DLC. Anyhow I guess its time to continue my "ultimate" playthrough, maybe Ill get to ME3 before the DLCs released... I doubt it.

Dear Bioware-

Please beg EA to put the Single Player DLC in a "sale" pack so I can buy it all at once. It would be a great gesture to your fans. Not to mention I'd actually buy them then. I mean, Steam has sales on DLC all the time, Origin NEVER does. What's up with that?

Will there be a New Ending to this DLC as well? I just can't wait and more Romancing and exploring. I really wish they would add vehicles, new weapons, powers and armor too.

It's going to be so sad playing through this knowing it is the last dlc but it sounds amazing and I can't wait....but tbh I am glad it was announced as being the final dlc. At least we know not to expect any more and that Shepards trilogy is finally complete

I guess so, but I like good story telling and not something written by two guys in a closet.
