Not to be a gloomy Gus or anything, but it seems like the DLC is limited to 7 new weapons and some new characters. No maps mentioned, new enemy types, new missions, hazard maps? I'm not one to scoff at new free content but I've got a pile of weapons and characters I haven't used very much. I was kind of hoping for some content outside of even more characters and weapons to add to the pile. Maps are really what I was hoping for.

Chirs is referring to teh SP DLC only, its too big for xbox love so its split into 2 packs. in order to balance the cost, pack 1 cost 15.00 and pack 2 is free. but you need both packs to make teh DLC work.

MP as always the DLC is free

Xbox has a DLC limit of 2GB so thats the reason it has to be split up

I dunno.   I made a thread asking that but it keeps getting bumped off the front page by important topics like the 1,348th thread asking about how much credits to save for DLCs.

Playable Geth Primes.  I cannot imagine how hard that must have been to keep under your hat.  Bioware, give this man a medal.

So I have to pay for the SP DLC just to use the MP pack??? 

Clearly that only refers to Citadel, the SP DLC

I hope so, because if you look closer, I'm hoping Chris just made an oversight while typing.

He wrote as if you NEED to purchase Citadel in order for Reckoning to work. 
I HOPE he meant "you need to have Reckoning downloaded in order to eun Citadel"?

Right, just to make sure this is completely clear, Citadel, the SP DLC, exceeds the DLC size limit on XBox, and will need to be downloaded as two seperate packages.  Reckoning is its own entirely seperate DLC.  That means if you're getting both, you will be making 3 seperate downloads total, two for Citadel and one for Reckoning.  They don't affect each other in any way!

damn, they really know how to keep the hype up - first i was so hyped for an official announcement that i couldn't really touch the MP for 1 1/5 weeks anymore - now i am even more hyped for the official reveal of its content...

...whuzz talon mercenary, whut race - wanted humans, hoped for new ex-cerbies, everyone hoped for his favourites anyway - but just 3 reveals to me yet... - and whuzz about new powers... .

but well, at least the semi-official idea of "playable geth prime" lets me (who dislikes the idea to play as turian lady/ play as robot lady - but does not have anything against others doing so) happily get back to credit-farming again ( !7! gunz? OMG my current 15,5 million would surely soooooooooooooo not be enough... ...and that is good thing i say!).

While I'm very excited by the prospect of new classes and weapons, I can't help but be a little saddened at the news of no new maps/hazard variations. I thought the idea of a new gameplay mode was too good to be true and never got my hopes up in that regard, but I for some reason always assured myself we'd get at least one new place to play...

But really, all things considered?
Oh hell yeah.
