You dont get it bioware....i wont be even downloading this. All you provide is the same gametype. That is BORING after a year. You need to come out with different types of game modes to keep the game fresh. It gets boring only killing 10 waves of bad guys all the time. You pay people for creative so put them to work please. Here is a free one on the house. A gametype that has you fighting increasing difficulties of husks. Of course no one will read this so i suppose this is just venting. I will however continue to buy your singleplayer DLC.
I feel like you're not really getting it tbh. The MP part of ME3 was only ever a bolt on to the SP, almost like an experiment. It's got a shelf-life like any other piece of software and it's getting to the end of it. Actually, it would have ended a long time ago without the support it's had from free dlcs. They said ages ago they are limited to the framework of the SP game so I think people just ask for too much. Having said that, an endless husk wave would be fun
Instead, put your thoughts down and send it to Bioware with regards to how you want the next game in the ME universe to work with multiplayer. After this success you can be sure it'll be up there in priority when they're designing the game!
^ This is correct.
While I totally agree that more gametypes would be ideal, MP
started as an ADD-ON to ME3, not as a separate multiplayer game; games like
CoD, Gears, Halo, a large amount of the work on the game goes into the MP,
because this is (for many) the biggest selling point of the game. ME3 was sold
on SP story, and the MP portion was thrown in as an experimental add-on. With
that in mind, you can’t expect the same variety in gametypes as you would a
Gears, because that’s not how ME3 was designed.
To be 100% honest, I’m astounded with how much work has been
put into MP. I didn’t think it would be nearly this popular, nor did I think
they’d put out even half this much content; the sheer amount of different kits
is extremely impressive, and the fact that they continued to tweak the game as
they released things proves they certainly weren’t skimping on the work side of
this.
As Calgac pointed out, I’m sure that when ME4 comes out,
they’ll have a full-featured MP mode, as now that they know the demand is
there, they can create a full gametype for it. Instead of directing anger
towards Bioware because they didn’t include extra gametypes in ME3’s MP, how
about a little appreciation for how much work they put into something that had
no real reason to succeed the way it did?
