You dont get it bioware....i wont be even downloading this. All you provide is the same gametype. That is BORING after a year. You need to come out with different types of game modes to keep the game fresh. It gets boring only killing 10 waves of bad guys all the time. You pay people for creative so put them to work please. Here is a free one on the house. A gametype that has you fighting increasing difficulties of husks. Of course no one will read this so i suppose this is just venting. I will however continue to buy your singleplayer DLC.

Then don't.

Also: GTFO!

Also: Thanks, Bioware. I'm really looking forward to both DLCs

I feel like you're not really getting it tbh.  The MP part of ME3 was only ever a bolt on to the SP, almost like an experiment.  It's got a shelf-life like any other piece of software and it's getting to the end of it.  Actually, it would have ended a long time ago without the support it's had from free dlcs.  They said ages ago they are limited to the framework of the SP game so I think people just ask for too much.  Having said that, an endless husk wave would be fun :)

Instead, put your thoughts down and send it to Bioware with regards to how you want the next game in the ME universe to work with multiplayer.  After this success you can be sure it'll be up there in priority when they're designing the game!

How.. is fighting increasing difficulties of husk any less boring than fighting 10 waves of a variety of enemies? You don't have to like MP but that doesn't mean the rest of us share your opinion. You never had to spend any money on MP so not sure what protesting the download of the DLC will do but hinder your ability to ever play again (not that you seem to enjoy it anyway).

I'm all for variety of gameplay modes, but many dev comments have mentioned how that would be too difficult to do via DLC. So no point complaining about that.

If u dont download the new dlc then u can't play MP anymore at last with those who download it... that would be the 99% of the players and of course none of this can't play with u

And what is that thing falling from the sky?

It's not falling from the sky it's a banshee ball or scion pulse cannon coming from the side, it just looks that way because of the camera angle...

I'm rather curoius about the other, unmentioned characters. The Geth Juggernaut, Cabal Vanguard, Talon Mercenary, Alliance Infiltration Unit, and more take up arms.
Perhaps we do get that new salarian :) Only disappointed because of the lack of newmaps, and the idiotic EDI-clone, but it's all for free, so I'm not complaining. Thanks for the long and active support, BW, you've done an awesome job!

Am I missing something? It says nothing about new maps. I would've preferred just new maps over 100 new characters, to be honest.

^ This is correct.

While I totally agree that more gametypes would be ideal, MP
started as an ADD-ON to ME3, not as a separate multiplayer game; games like
CoD, Gears, Halo, a large amount of the work on the game goes into the MP,
because this is (for many) the biggest selling point of the game. ME3 was sold
on SP story, and the MP portion was thrown in as an experimental add-on. With
that in mind, you can’t expect the same variety in gametypes as you would a
Gears, because that’s not how ME3 was designed.

To be 100% honest, I’m astounded with how much work has been
put into MP. I didn’t think it would be nearly this popular, nor did I think
they’d put out even half this much content; the sheer amount of different kits
is extremely impressive, and the fact that they continued to tweak the game as
they released things proves they certainly weren’t skimping on the work side of
this.

As Calgac pointed out, I’m sure that when ME4 comes out,
they’ll have a full-featured MP mode, as now that they know the demand is
there, they can create a full gametype for it. Instead of directing anger
towards Bioware because they didn’t include extra gametypes in ME3’s MP, how
about a little appreciation for how much work they put into something that had
no real reason to succeed the way it did?

Then don't.  You have unrealistic expectations for a paid update to a traditionally single player franchise's first entry into the multiplayer, let alone a free update finale.   No one (fans, bioware, EA) expected it to be as popular as it became and it's been the highlight of some of people's ME3 experience despite its limited nature.   It's perfectly fine to get tired of a single varied coop mode (even with the DLC) but you don't have to make some show of it.  I've taken time of this game for weeks/months at a time and I find that helps in appreciating it again when new DLC drops.  Making completely new game modes won't happen for a year old game.  The different types of game modes will come out for the next mass effect for which this one is a very fun guinea pig.

Geth Juggernaut looks cool, but I imagine limitations with taking cover are going to be a big problem at the higher difficulty levels. Even if the kit comes with something crazy, like Defense Matrix AND Fortification.
