Do you really think that Microsoft will do better than Sony? I am not trying to sound like a fanboy but at E3 Sony will actually show more games and the actual PS4 with pricing. Nothing at all during the announcement gave me any desire to buy these PS4 games, or even the PS4 itself.

My personal opinion says you are right.

My professional opinion says who cares? The whole console war thing is a passe misnomer at this point its kind of silly.

Was anything mentioned about the Wh0re of the Orient (name of actual game is banned from BSN it would seem but that is it's actual name and from a triple A publisher so don't think I should get banned for changing o to 0), it's the sequel to LA Noire that is supposed to be under development for next generation consoles.

in fact its rumored that the next gen xbox may have kinect spy machines required in order to run

well to me it seems like the thing now is console vs. pc
how long after these consoles come ot will it take to have average gaming pcs topping its hardware. maybe a year maybe 2? then what? 6 years of innovation on pc while consoles get left with bad textures and low resolutions? the only thing thats holding pc gaming back is the dreaded p word.

Deep Down, if only because I'm 99.9999% sure it is Dragon's Dogma 2, I mean come on, what other game could have those ridiculous accents, and goofy-nosed, floppy-eared dragons?

Actually, David Cage's presentation was quite interesting, but as far as games go, Dragon Dogm--- Ehm I mean Deep Down and Watch Dogs peaked my curiosity. Too bad Bioware wasn't at the announcement, would have made my day. Good presentation of the PS4 though, unexpected even.

Good show on Sony's part.

What I do is laugh now that console wars has started. Even Jack Tretton is taking shots at Microsoft. This new war is going to be hilarious.

If the PS4 doesn't force you to be online at all times to enjoy 100% of your single player game (even if it means a one-time code like Dragon Age 1 & 2 to unlock Shale, and TBE,) versus the new XBox which sounds like it's going to, if I get a new console then it's a no-brainer for me, due solely to the complete lack of cost-effective high speed where I live.

As far as games go, if they bring Nascar back to Gran Turismo, that would probably be the first game on my list, assuming the new Fallout's, Dragon Age's ect are too good for my computer, and they don't bring computer loans as a benefit back at my work.

yes the ps4 looks to be much more consumer friendly. the question is the balance of this. if developers can sell more on xbox because theres less competition with used games and such then they will. unless the xbox cant sell enough units.... very complicated

Knack looks fascinating. I believe it may be a game with a good story, characters, combat and maybe ultra lite rpg mechanics. Was that Jennifer Hale voice acting, too?? Plus I liked the guy who is developing it. He seems passionate and the trailer looked like it probably has very very high production values. Pretty interesting character, too. Not usually into games like this but it had a unique charm that caught me.

Watch Dogs. I dunno. It's graphically impressive. I just don't see the premise yet. I see it as a creepy dude going around eavesdropping with a cell. I'll keep an eye on it, but nothing yet has me pumped about it. I would be interested in Destiny if it was a singleplayer shooter/rpg hybrid. Artwork looks cool. Killzone.....ehhhh. That seemingly Dark Souls wannabe adding in too much atmosphere destroying dialogue and not serious enough....working title....maybe I'll check up on it, and maybe it'll be good. Who knows? Dark Souls II FTW. And of course....Cyberpunk 2077.

I am excited for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the teased but unannounced Fallout 4. Fallout
4 + dem graphics= WINNNNNNNN.

Watch Dogs, i really hope that all they show are not just some scripted events and can happen randomly.

And Killzone 4! What can i say, i am a Killzone sucker, especially love multiplayer and KZ3 was the best 3D game i haver played.

I really liked the trailer for Deep Down. It was gorgeous. I'm skeptical, though, because Capcom is making it. They did an okay job on Dragon's Dogma, but it gets boring after a while. Dragon's Dogma only gets good once you get to the Everfall as there are some difficult situtations, but other than that, it was a pretty dull game once you hit the 20+ hour mark. Plus, you can't get the expansion unless you buy the whole game again...

There really isn't a single game revealed so far that would make me run out and buy a PS4, but I'm glad that there is more variety at this launch than the PS3's.

we have to remember though that memory works different for consoles and ps3 and ps4 are desiged different but ps3 has i think 512mb ram.
honestly though i feel like we will get 1080p for a while at least but if pc gaming keeps pushing things forward console games will have to scaled down to 720p near the end of the gen cycle
