Please read this and not the title ok thank you

Ok so I just played a game with a GI and he had the N7 Typhoon. He was killing faster than the missle glitch we all

died at wave 8 but still he was killing collecters everywhere. When I tried to see how he did that on the N7HQ all it

said was he didn't have a GI unlocked and that he wasn't lvl 20. Now I know this must mean he turned off his feed

back but most of the people that talk about turning off feed back were the ones doing the missle glitch. So is he up to

something or is he just somebody that likes to hide things.:( or

As far as I know you can't do any goofy crap on consoles besides missile glitching.
I will say that a GI with Brophoon can poop all over stuff if you're good.

You are connected to the server, bioware can still view all activity that occurs.

and is it even possible?

People could "turn off feedback" so they "couldn't" be watched. It does not work anymore.

I turned off feedback to prevent Drell nerfs. It may be a little paranoid but I'll quit playing if anything happens to my Drell.

Feedback was (is?) for weekend event information, and achievements. You couldn't get those without feedback on. Internet options. The store, your inventory, and the mechanics of the game won't change if you don't have that on.

Hey that's me. Unexpected sync kills are my bane... Btw OP I meant to send you a message to thank you for trying to clutch the wave but I ended up not sending it.

edit: Btw, I'm not sure what you're refereing to, but my profil isn't set to private if that means anything.
edit2: Oh now I see what you meant. In the Online options in-game, right? If so, I've always had that set to On.

only affects weekend challenges and your challenge progression.

and probably allows bioware to gather data for the 2 datsheets they gave us giving weapon/map/character usage.

I don't see a reason why would anyone turn off feedback, well of course if you're some 'conspiracies are everywhere retard' type of person then it's understandable.

The feedback option never hid all of your game data from Bioware, only certain aspects of it. If you were playing on a GI without having unlocked the GI, they'd still be able to catch the discrepancy regardless of your feedback settings.

I initially turned feedback off because i don't like the general trend to monitor our every action, put our profiles into client files which end up being sold to whatever company out there which will spam us to no end. I can't stop it, but if i can limit it somehow, i'll do it.
That originally made me miss 3 promo weapons but nowadays i think you don't lose anything by doing so.

You know, I thought this too.  I shut off my feedback(for the same reasons you mentioned) when BW sad it wasn't necessary anymore to have it on for the challenges.  I get spammed with a lot of crap on xbox(weird fr's and gaming solicitor crap/I'm the only one I know who gets this too), and I like to keep my privacy whenever possible.  I don't think BW is doing anything with my gaming info though, so I'm gonna turn it back on tomorrow.  There's no reason to have it off, unless you like that little odd sense of security.

By installing Origin, you've already consented to an incredibly invasive EULA. Turning off the feedback option to protect your privacy after that is like wearing sunglasses after a cavity search >.>

Your profile data will update regardless of the feedback thing.

I agree that deactivating it isn't going to change much. I'm just making it a matter of principle.

not enough info to go off really.

what difficulty, did he have high level equipment and/or assualt rifle gear, was his typhoon maxed out?

if it was silver or bronze its not hard to destroy the place with just about any UR gun.

alot of things could have made him destroy silver.

a player can make their profile private, which is just silly in my opinion, but they do that on the forums.
as far as i know that has nothing to do with turning off feedback.

also you could have typed in the name wrong and ended up with a completely different player with a very similar name.

so before you run off and report someone, you should know more info about what even happened, especially if your going to ask the forum community if someone is a cheater.

difficulty gold lvl and equipment didn't see was hoping it would have been on his/her n7hq profile nope not reporting don't know if he/her was cheating but they were going in and out of cloak every shot. can u even do that with a GI and a Typhoon? let me explain that better he/she goes cloak fire then goes cloak again will still firing like ever 2 seconds. I was standing beside them when I noticed. Also they took down Scion and that big bug in seconds like 10.

This sounds quite possible. Usually with the typhoon or PPR and tac cloak characters like the GI people cloak after the weapon ramps up to get max damage while firing and often cloak again before they've expended their clip. It's very possible to cloak while firing, and if you do so the recharge on tac cloak is basically nothing. And if it was a typhoon X with level IV warp rounds or armor piercing rounds scions and praetorians go down pretty quickly. Also, since I'm assuming this is the PS3, the likelihood of them modding or hacking is pretty low, most people just missile glitch if they want to cheat.

i agree with ReaperRed here.

infiltrators can cloak while they are firing, it gives the damage bonus and instantly uncloaks them with a 3 sec cooldown.

also if he was hitting all the weak spots on those enemies, then its not hard to drop them pretty fast especially with high end equpment and he very well could have been using lvl 4 stuff on a typhoon X.

i think you just ran into a good player,  altho you guys didnt make it to the end, even good players fail sometimes.
