Apparently they are showing a renegade. Scroll up and see pics of my slightly renengade maleshep. Same scar.

Seriously, people. The scars appear slowly over time. This photo shows a Shepard that has progressed pretty far into the Renegade path. The promo pic from BioWare however does not. It's still early on for that one, with just a hint of scarring.

Far = red eyes.

They get more severe, but all of the lines are still there.

RED EYES = FULL RENEGADE. THERE IS A POINT BEFORE REACHING RED-EYES WITH THE SCARRING. THAT PICTURE IS NOT TO THAT POINT YET.

So far it at least sounds interesting, that's more than Omega had going for it. And I have about 1200 points on my xbox currently and nothing to spend it on. But I will probably be waiting for a review before I go with it. With the inclusion of Wrex + Mass Effect 2 squad mates, I guess it really comes down how much content each one gets. Like myself with this DLC I was looking forward to more Morinth and more Miranda, so the amount of content they get depends on if I buy it or not.

That isnt true. 

A partialy renegade Shep does have scars. No, most are not that visible at that point, but there are two, one on the jaw and one on the left cheek, that are, and they have a glow. I have a male and femshep with that exact scar pre-ending.

I never remember a glow on my Shepard on ME2 that early.

This.  If it involves the squaddies from ME2 and love interest content, the people who romanced Thane are kinda on a timeline here as to when this can occur.  Assuming there is content for Thane I might have a reason to finally import my second Shep.

EDIT - Okay, so...wow.  Erm.  It takes place POST-Citadel Coup?  So nothing for Thane, then?  Wow.

I can't wait for this DLC. Top secret alliance stuff. Like N7 stuff. Or maybe Shepards past. The real past, not the stuff that's given to you at the begining of ME1. Or maybe more details on project lazarus?

Will you stop it with the scars? They appear gradually, the one on the jaw being the first. You can have only the jaw scar, as proven by these pics. Cut it out, or at least stop spamming the forum with the same pic over and over again.

I have to admit it DOES look like the same scar as just before the beam when he is looking up at it right before stepping in. Doesn't mean much though other then reused graphics.
