It would be odd for BioWare to continue to lie about post-ending stuff. Say they were lying and post-ending content was a big surprise ... Congratulations, BioWare purposefully lied to us. Hooray, I guess?

If they were to keep post-ending content a surprise, they wouldn't say anything at all. They wouldn't pick an absolute "no post-ending" position; they'd just keep quiet.

No point in buying DLC that happens in mid-game knowing how it ends. Didn't buy Omega, Leviathan and I won't get this one either. Sorry, just can't get excited.

As i said few months ago..... Just like omega it will be 1200mp, standalone mission, pew pew, choose your color again....

I wouldnt call them stupid or idiots as they develop games as such, But for the life of me i will never understand why they ended shepards story like that and then chose not to add to it after an outcry for it, People love mario, Snake, Drake, Master chief..... They also sell by the bucketload and im just at a loss as to why they just dont cash in on what we want, As lets be honest they are giving those who wanted romance dlc!!!!!

Note that Chris says it can take place anytime between Citadel Coup and Priority London. All other DLC took place prior to the attack on Cronos Station.

Saying it takes place before Priority London means it can take place after Cronos Station but before London - that's when the Citadel is moved over earth.

I have no idea what this means. I'm confused and am looking forward to the DLC!

Why does BioWare just have to be willfully stupid about certain things?

I mean, it is one thing to be stubborn. Even to be such an ass that you refuse to do things even when people who buy your stuff ask for it in droves. Or to pick out only the parts you want to do. But you read these BioWare tweets and wonder, "Really? You have a job? Doing what, pushing paper and tweeting stuff you were told to? Oh, right, yes, sure those are original thoughts you have there...."

Yes, it shows up in the endings and the stories. And that's why you look at this self-promoting DLC and laugh. Sure, does it add some things people were asking for? Yes, you know, squaddies. But it so gloriously misses all the important things that are wrong about Mass Effect. Show some stunning self face punching on BioWare's part.

And people wonder why come back here and post if it is so disliked. Because at this point it is hilarious! It is so worth making fun of. It literally brings me daily happiness to come here and watch the flopping and flailing and fanhurt that really, for me, has come to represent what the new BioWare is all about. Was that an EA decision? To move from quality rpg products to emo, misunderstood game designers who do bad work? I'm sure we can speculate.

Believe whatever you want.  It's unbelievable how obstinate people are about this subject.  I'm sure that when it's ultimately not ending-related there will be people blaming BioWare for overhyping a potential new ending that doesn't exist.

Quoted for truth

Regardless of opening up the whole "majority/minority" can of worms, I don't really get why "listening to fan feedback" has to translate to "implement all fan feedback."  Sure there's a lot of people out there requesting new endings but there are countless threads and complaints about wanting more time with ME2 squad and romance options.  This is certainly a nod to fans.

At least Clevernoob is asking for numbers.

Haven't seen one of BioWare's staff pull the "majority" card quite like that before.

Merizan is lying ( about no post-ending). Come on guys, there is DECORATION involved in the middle of a war. Obviously there is something pre-ending and then decorations for everybody post ending, unlees this is some nonsense "harbinger not shooting" style, Shepard, why kill when you can bet and drink, you are going to die anyways. I hope pre-ending involves shepard discovering the true nature of space bieber before he shows up.

Does that seem strange to you? If you can ignore the existence of medi gel, have harbinger show up but NOT shoot Shepard and teleport the normandy from the middle of a space battle to earth in less than 5 seconds (all in a single short scene no less!), having a party in the middle of a galaxy spanning war doesn't seem such a strech....

Doesn't that go pretty much directly against EA policy? I thought they wanted every piece of content to appeal to as many people as possible in an attempt to maximize sales...

"Waaaaah Bioware doesn't listen!!!!"

I guess some people think the world revolves around them.

A great many people have asked for additional romance with their L.I.'s and have been begging and pleading for more time with the ME2 cast.

You're either blind or in complete and utter denial if you think they didn't take feedback into account when creating this DLC. (Most likely the latter)

what a kick in the quad.

- we did not like the ending
- you are not the majority
- how many were the majority
- that is classified.

i am mildly upset right now.

You? you complain about our ****ing game? you dare? You get nothing, and screw the fact that 70% of our fans hate us :wizard: cuz we are artistic :D

I agree, implementing all feedback is unrealistic. And yes, incorporating some feedback is better than none. I guess to me, I would have a list of priorities. Personally (I know I don't speak for everyone), I rank ending and or post-ending content as higher than spending more time with ME2 squad members.

And that's totally fine.  Everyone has their own priorities as to what they like/dislike in a game.  I just don't see a reason to go tweeting at BioWare's people with glib, snarky comments like "oh I thought you listened to feedback, but nevermind."

Don't trust in Jessica Merizan. She said a while ago that the catalyst was a Being of Light and even suggested reviewing ME1. Since she joined the team at the end of production.
You can not trust them.

Wow. Not every piece of content is for everyone....
Did she really just say that?
I guess the "minority" of people wanting ending content just need to stick with head cannon.

I may buy this. Depends on if the new MP weapons will make an appearance in SP. The chance to party up with Zaeed for one last big guddamn heroic mission is almost worth the price of admission.

If they actually answered, the nagging may stop.
