the better answer would have been: "what was your problem - what part did you not like."

if you would work in my company, i would not let you near a customer.

That is obviously step one of the conversation, but in my conversation the person isn't really interested in the particulars of the job anymore.

I think this is the important distinction.  It's been almost a year.  She's been putting up with this for a long time, from the same people over and over.

you dont become a blacksmith if you are afraid of sparks.

SO you reckon they will make a trailer?

Plus on the Omega DLC, when you do the big speech with aria & her old bit of skirt starts bugging out, one minute she's fine the her heads twisted backwards lol? crazy stuff...only played it once, then went back to Mass Effect 1, Now on ME2 touching down in Illium, laughing at Conrad & doing a few things before dicking Shadowbroker....so am I ready for the new DLC? of course lol

Ah, thanks. Yeah, going from "internal and confidential" to "lie" is pretty cheesy.

I like the analogy, but this would be like if the sparks came to life and started burning your hands, then got mad if you slapped the embers to put them out.

I'm glad that by the time they officially announced it, we don't have to wait ages. It seems like the norm these days to have to wait months or even years for games or DLC that are just "announced". So at least this should be interesting news at the very least and will revitalize some ME talk.

This is incredible. Romance DLC. ME2 crew. New hub.

It's like BioWare read my dreams and made 'em true.

Thanks, but I don't need another analogy.  The "chemicals" you speak of don't necessarily involve getting hammered over stupid stuff repeatedly and incessantly, often by the same people, and responding to it with a smile on your face.

Besides, I really don't understand why what she said was so objectionable in the first place.

Here's the exchange (started by another user and he jumped in)

Random user:  I thought we were told Bioware were listening to fan feedback on this one?

JM:  We did, and the numbers did all the talking. You are not in the majority, despite what you may believe.

CN:  Numbers? Please. You put out ONE survey that didn't even reach the people who hate the ending.

JM:  like any company, our market research data is internal and confidential.

CN: And therefore inaccurate. Have fun sailing on a sinking ship. It's sad to see Bioware go, but you guys had your chance             JM: Cheers!

EDIT:  WHOA the formatting really messed up there sorry.

Ah, thanks. Yeah, going from "internal and confidential" to "lie" is pretty cheesy.

That's it??! 'You are not in the majority, despite what you believe' and 'Cheers!' has caused two pages of excitement? Sheesh, this is clearly a FAR more interesting exchange than it seems ... is there some kind of sexual anagram in there somewhere?

Well I have to concede the point that given the nature of her job it is expected of her to handle rude behavior to a degree that other employees aren't. Nevertheless I don't find her comments unprofessional.

Don't you people get it? This is it! We're finally going to get a better ending! This is the long awaited DLC that will finally allow players to hook up with their ME2 LIs, and that means Shepard is finally going to get another shot with Morinth.  Even better, this takes place between the coup and priority Earth, so you can complete the majority of the game before opting out of Priority Earth by paying a visit to Morinth so that she can give Shepard his popularly demanded happy ending.

It's his face without the medical bay upgrade in ME2. You guys need to chill out. They not changing the ending they don't care! Casey Hudson held you down and shoved his vision down your throat. Deal with it!

I'll also admit that it would have probably been better for her to bite her tongue, but let's not pretend that some of these attacks against the devs have gotten out of hand in the past. It has gotten so bad that they had to change the terms of service for the BSN to even discuss verbal assaults or threats against BioWare personnel. Her job demands dealing with rude behavior, but this whole situation has practically evolved into harassment over the last year.

EDIT:  Also you are making this analogy become ridiculous.  Chemicals and toxic substances are inanimate and you can control them and implement safety measures to deal with them and eliminate their danger.  They can't think for themselves.

The premise of being out there searching for Saren still holds true In ME1. That "race" still entails your search and thus the exploration of unchartered worlds in hope of locating or failing that finding clues to aid your search for Saren.

Searching random worlds over the entire galaxy in the hope that Saren might have landed on one of them?

Not sure if serious....

(I'd put the pic in but I've already seen it three times today)

Alan, it is a flawed premise given that it is a game "urgency" issue. Bioware could have placed a timer, a countdown clock to force the player to "move along" but then, that would restrict exploration now wouldn't it?

However for gameplay sake, the suspension of urgency here was excercised.

As with the suspension of disbelief in regards to what Ezo is and Mass Effect powers, you are given at least a reason to excercise that suspension.

I am just saying that shopping to pad an apartment is so out of Character for Shepard in the face of a Reaper invasion. Do you disagree?

Besides, I am not bothered by it.
More like amused.
It is like someone in marketing saw all the love for Sims3 / Hearthfire / housing in games and suggested this little nugget as a "cool feature" without thinking it through or asking themselves, "Is this something Shepard would do given the circumstances?"

Final downloadable content huh?

So I guess we yet again get the traditional BioWare/EA middle finger salute on finishing off the Alternate Appearance Packs for ME3? It would have been nice to see a surprise pack that even finished off the ME2 group.

*I know it’s a bit trivial compared to story based downloads and more multiplayer ones but it would be nice to see them finish what they started on for once with these.*

So the galaxy is burning and Shepard can spend time in an apartment shooting the breeze with his/her pals. Makes perfect sense to me. “Whats that, Anderson on line 1? Sorry, busy gambling and having the time of my life while you are all getting wiped out on Earth. Tell him I’ll call back in a week or so.” At least all the messing around on previous games were quest related.

I’m supposed to be overjoyed to hear that these are the final downloads and this is what they come up with for the single player one? “When the adventure is over, reconnect with your favorite characters from the Mass Effect Trilogy, try your luck at the Citadel’s Silver Coast Casino, blow off steam in the Armax Combat Arena, or explore and furnish Shepard’s own living quarters on the Citadel. With unique content and cinematics featuring your friends and romance interests in the Mass Effect trilogy, Mass Effect 3: Citadel offers one final chance to see the characters you have known for years and rekindle romances.” That part sounds like something that should have been in the game in the first place, not a paid downloadable content feature and certainly not the final one.

If this takes place after Tuchunka I guess Mordan and Thane wont be there and Kelly Chambers and the Virmire survivor may not be. Why would anyone show up in the first place to stop in to say “Hi.” when a few of them have their own missions later in the game - Miranda is looking for her sister, Legion is dealing with the Quarians, Samara is on her mission, Jacob dumped you and is on his own map. It just sounds like a total cluster mess.

I, for one, am happy to see Miranda standing in between Garrus and Wrex. I am a little ashamed to admit it, but I'm willing to pay money to make up for the lost interaction that the ME2 characters had in ME3, especially Miri.

Actually in my first ME1 playthrough I took this additude, missed a whole ton of side quests, and got Wrex killed because I didn't spend enough spare time chatting him up.  It's important to figure out how time really works in an RPG if you want to see all the content...

Indeed. Too bad ME ceased being a RPG.
